Thanks for posting about you and your gf's experience with Dr. Kamol. It would have been likely she asked a couple of her friends to help her post-op recovery. That tends to be the situation if an lb doesn't get her family to help. Sorry to hear that she had complications with her surgery. Since it is a complicated procedure, complications even with the better doctors can occur. The better doctors will correct problems at no or little extra charge.

I will be getting an updated list of breast augmentation surgeons as well.
While it is hard to know what is true when I am here and she is there, I think the main problem was she paid the minimum price. I see people were talking about the Farang price was much more but this could include all the extras such as post op care, transportation and other features. I know she had to pay herself for subsequent surgery but I don't have all the facts.
However it should be considered that the doctor or associates may not be available outside clinic hours for problems that arise. She said before going to the hospital, she tried going to the clinic but they said there was no doctors available. This is Thailand so it is not like developed countries where your doctor will get out of bed and come down to the hospital. Things work differently in Thailand.

That ad looks interesting, no doubt people are trying to offer value added services for foreigners wanting surgery.
I guess you would have to do your research and make sure you find agencies that are good and work with the surgeons.

A ladyboy here in Canada I know went to Bangkok recently for various surgeries. The clinic she booked with did everything for her including when she wanted to go out they provided a free car to go to restaurants, shopping etc. I told her that most likely she was paying a lot more, even with the free car, because they were taking her to places that they have prearrangements with.

When SRS doctors don't have a full hospital back up proper follow up outside of hours will be a problem. In this case Dr. Suporn has a big advantage. Even if they are not at the hospital, the staff there should be able to handle the situation until the main doctor arrives.

Now here are the top 3 plastic surgeons for breast augmentation:

1.) Dr. Peera with the Peera Plastic and Skin Clinic

2.) Dr. Grechart with the Yanhee Hospital

3.) Dr. Kittisak with the Lelux Hospital. This is the former Suay Ngam Clinic

The cost for the number 1 doctor is about 100,000 Baht - fairly hefty increase from 7 years ago. There is likely a price differential for foreigners as well.

When she was recovering in the clinic there was doctors on call in the clinic. But when she went there in the evening to the clinic with complications she was turned away. So as I say, you must be careful in Thailand, it is not like other countries where people care for more than money. In Thailand money is number 1. Seeing this was a top doctor she saw I would expect them to behave differently. As I say I suspect she did not pay for extended care, thus she did not receive any. If a foreigner gets treated bad in Thailand they can often find a solutions. When locals have problems usually nobody cares, unless you got cash.

Crag, your comments about Thais not getting proper care if they don't have the money is probably right - although I think it depends on the doctor as well. My gf and her friends have had good care from Dr. Kamol - but I think this was after he got a nicer clinic and hospital affiliation. Canadians are lucky that hospital care doesn't cost a fortune and the care is usually good quality.

Thanks for sharing Evana! Does Dr. Nara do SRS and breast augmentation as well? I am guessing you are speaking from personal experience.

Thanks for sharing Evana! Is that Dr. Thep from Pratunam Polyclinic? I have heard he does good work, although his clinic needs to be cleaned up. His clinic is unique as he does not charge (at least used to) foreigners a higher rate than Thais.

I have heard SRS costs less in Hat Yai, but results may not be consistently good.

Thais are so lucky to have so many surgeons who can keep their skills sharp with so many patients. I did go to Yangee Hospital 2 years ago for lower sagging eyelid surgery. Very nice clean hospital easily gotten to by bus, but remember there were newly installed columns for the Skytrain coming. Very friendly receptionists, nurses, and everybody is so beautiful when they smile. Yeah, it really is LOS. Talked to a surgeon and was advised to stop baby Asprin for a week. Went in, paid my fee (forgot how much), bagged all my possessions, counted and tagged my wallet and how much cash I was carrying. Entered a hallway full of patients like me, chained to surgical scrubs, and lay down on a gurney. Just closed my eyes and relaxed. Wheeled to a surgery room that was clean and small like a veterinary surgery room. Nothing fancy. They must have given me a general anesthetic even though they said they wouldn't do that. Next thing I know the surgery was finished, and I was being wheeled to the recovery room. What the surgeon did was cut straight lines on the skin just below the lower eyelashes. He did not cut a U-shaped incision at the bottom of my eye bags. Excess skin was carefully removed and the lids pulled UP to be sewn with the lashes. Totally opposite of what I had expected. Continuous suture pattern was done. Just relaxed and waited for the release. Got all my stuff back and caught the bus back to Sukhumvit Rd. Didn't have bandages on my eyes so everybody in the bus felt so sorry for me. They thought I got beaten up. I gestured it was surgery. Thais so nice people. Got back to my hotel and did stupid things. Took a hot shower and rubbed the dried blood from around my eyes. They bled. Tried to control the bleeding with cans of cold soda pop from the little refrigerator. Wore sunglasses to dinner. Took the antibiotics and pain killers they gave me and applied Chlorampenicol ointment to my incisions. The next morning my eyes were bruised black and blue and the pillow had a big bloody spot. Three days later I jetted back home where I had my ophthalmologist destitch me two weeks after the surgery. Should have done it at 10 days as the skin heals fast and buries the stitches. I am happy with the results. I think my savings doing the surgery here plus teeth whitening (US$200) practically paid for my plane fare and maybe even my hotel and entertainment expenses. So try Thailand for a medical vacation and compare the prices. I suspect I will need to redo the lower lids again in 5-10 years. I redo laser teeth whitening every 2 years.

This is an interesting story of a Thai lb beauty contest winner who had SRS - but was not happy with the results. She says the clinic stated her new vagina would be 6-7 inches deep as per her requests, and it was only 3 inches deep, which caused problems with her boyfriend.

Hopefully there will be a follow up video with the results of the lawsuit.

I did not get. The problematic part, is it the existing or the new hole?

This was referring to her first SRS operation, which resulted in a depth of only 3 inches, when they advised her it usually is 6-7 inches deep.

I think that is his same site. I notice the link for Dr. Kamol previously posted on this thread was dead.
My GF had heard of Dr. Kamol and wanted to get her pussy done by him. So I came across his new site.
I previously had a GF that used Dr. Kamol. (Cake)
