He also told us about his family, all adopted as infants. Call me a jaded but I often thought that when he returned to Thailand for his month, the 11 month a year husband/father had to make himself scarce and the kids had to be nice to their 2nd dad while John paid for all the upgrades. I’ve lost track of him but sometimes wonder when I see stories like that if things worked out for him or did he get kicked to the curb and returned to the states with nothing to show for years of overseas toil.
Perhaps this gent just spent one part only of his earning in his Thai family. A few years ago, I had seen a few videos dealing with the subject or dealing with one specific case. One explained that he saw a few Thai ladies having several phones, maybe ten or more, at the time smartphones didn't exist yet, each phone being used for a boyfriend. They would write the BF's name and datas on a label and would talk to him as if he were the only one. I remember having seen a bar girl screaming on the phone in Chiang mai "why no call me ?" as if she was an abandoned puppy. Then, a couple of hours later, she would go to my hotel with a customer for a LT. Just business.
Another video told the story of an English man in his late 50's. He had found the Thai love (I don't remember if the story said she's a bar girl), then invested his savings in her family farm. He even worked to build a pig stal and make them develop their business. But after an argument, he was asked to leave the family and couldn't get a baht in return. I had met a country fellow on my second trip in Thailand. The guy was the boss of a massage salon in Chiang Mai. He was proud and very self confident. He explained me that his wife signed an IOU for every baht he spent for her. Everything was under the control of a Thai lawyer. I am not sure it's sufficient to get protected. The lawyer is likely to ask for more money in case of problem and even to start working for the Thai lady. Even if not, if she wants to put him out, I am not sure a Thai judge would give him the advantage. Better think that each bath spent in Thailand is no return expense.

Glad I'm a selfish Dheap Charlie. Most of the time. I learned not to trust. "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."
Remember that Crag. Just fuck 'em and forget 'em. Will sleep better on the plane home.

Wonder what a Thai judge would rule if the girl actually died? Justifiable homicide if he is savy to Thailand customs. Or guilty if he just hates foreigners.

Personally, I prefer to have sex with LB for a little while, pay them, and forget about them. Now with C thing i enjoy watching porn video. There is no virus, no sexually transmitted, no herpes or ringworm infection, or AIDS. Plus I can choose from a hundred artists who are eagerly waiting for my choice. Porn is very cheap to rent or download. I have about 40 6 TB Western Digital hard drives roughly crammed into drawers in my work desk. I connect a powerful desktop to my 55 inch Samsung TV via an HDMI cable. Like cinema with surround sound. Oh yeah, my 2.5oz Astroglide Lube Bottle. Never leave home without it. While I love to spend 2 months in Thailand for their annual Cock Wars, I always come home to keep in shape with healthy porn.

The United States has no jurisdiction over prostitution there but they can try to charge you for minors. As far as Thailand's bar system goes, it's very difficult to call it prostitution in the same way as the USA anyway. Thailand does not often discuss money up front and it is more like a selection process where you happen to give them money at the end Police in Thailand don't seem to consider bar work a crime. Only street freelancers seem to fall into this category.

Wow George...if you have 240 TB of porn, I think you're gonna need more than a 2.5 ounce bottle of lube!!

having dated many women in Thailand, some for 5 years, my requirement was educated, non drinking, and with career. I have never had a problem with Thai women after money because they all had more than me. My gf of 5 years never asked for money and we always shared all costs. Sorry, guys they do exist
