I guess it depends on popularity. The prettier ones with more experience are wise not to put all their eggs in one basket. Some others have rarely been paid serious attention and lay their hearts on the line.

Mind you, most are prone to taking the money for granted soon enough. Give any western 20 year old $1k a week pocket money and see how his lifestyle begins to change. That's human nature, and in the culture of PI, having a pocket full of cash, while your friends and family are hungry and thirsty, doesn't go down quite the same as it does in the west. Not sure how things are in Thailand, but I suspect the same.

I should add, that for Philippino ts, they often are quite proud to show off their success in receiving gifts. It's like a sign of achievement from what I can tell. Such things are usually handled more discretely by westerners. There is far less (if any) shame associated with asking for a gift in S.E. Asia it seems, bit it is a kind of taboo in the west and also in China where I have spent some time.

OMG that post reminds me of a client. His the one and only guy at that time who ever give me flowers and a greeting card with it. his so nice and sweet to me and even invited me to have dinner and even brought me to this expensive French restaurant. I dont know what happen to me but i simply feel good being with him and dont see him as client anymore. The next appointment he setup i dont even charge him anymore until we keep in meeting each other. I even treat him sometimes and sometimes he treat me. I dont like these sweetie guys they make me fall to them so fast lol and ruin my career jeje
