  • Philopedy ~ The love of ladyboys!

I'm introducing a new word to the English language.

Philopedy: The love and admiration of transsexuals.

Philogyny is the word used to describe the fondness, love, or admiration of women.

The 'ped' part of 'philopedy' comes from pederasty which in ancient Greece was a socially acknowledged relationship between an adult and a pubescent teenage boy.

The combination of both gives us that noun that we have been searching for...

    Philopedy.

    Are YOU a philopedist?

Now - how do I register this gem as a new word...

Sorry - not impressed! Similarity to 'Pedophile' puts me off straight away.

          "heliosexual"

helios = sun, sexual = well, duh

heliosexual = fucks anything under the sun

Have to agree with TTChang, sounds and looks too similar to pediophile - quite negative connotations.

I do like Socrates999 word though!

                I'm hard to please

Heliosexual .... Something to do with the Greek Myth about Daedalus & Icarus?

D taught Icarus how to fly, but told him to keep away from the sun because the heat would make the wax melt, destroying the wings. Although he was warned, Icarus was too young and too enthusiastic about flying. He got excited by the thrill of flying and carried away by the amazing feeling of freedom and started flying high to salute the sun, diving low to the sea, and then up high again.

His father Daedalus was trying in vain to make young Icarus understand his behavior was dangerous, and Icarus soon saw his wings melting.  Icarus fell into the sea and drowned.

Come to think of it, this pic shows Socrates at his best, launching another LB
