If your bothered about HIV look at www.thebody.com - it has a question board where HIV specialist doctors provide the answers. Its a very interesting board if you want to learn about HIV.

For ingrowing toe nails etc etc - sorry no idea.

      Cheers

        Thank you Mardhi,

Yes, seems a great website. However, I was referring to general kind of illnesses, although bit more serious than nails ingrown

By the way, Thailand is no longer one of the highest ranking countries with HIV positive percentages. Doesnt even rank anywhere close to India and nearly all of the African countries. It is now somewhere close to the USA and has improved itself tremendously due to a mass effort to get people to use condoms. Still doesnt make it any less risky when dealing with bareback anal with man/former man.

As far as blow jobs are concerned...still have yet to see a controlled test that proves you can get AIDS from a blow job. Why even bother getting a blow job if it is covered...might as well get a hand job.

My understanding (sorry Stogie, I am not a statistical expert), is that Thailand has perhaps the lowest HIV infection rates in Asia on a percentage basis. It was voted 1 or 2 years ago as having implemented the best preventative measures in the world over the last decade.

Thankfully, every LB I've been with insisted on a shower and condoms.

In the Philippines, I actually met a few LBs who did not know what a condom was. I was flabergasted to say the least, but in retrospect, I guess that great old Catholic dogma of no condoms is well instituted. Also, when I went to buy condoms in Cebu, it was well set up to be the most embarassing possible situation imagineable, even for me, an old tourist geezer, i.e., shout across a crowded counter with 20 people to the left, right, and in back of you. No wonder a few girls never ventured to buy condoms.

Anyhow, all that being said, I still agree with the be safe comments, and one mistake does it.

Two or more condoms can be worse then one as the extra friction can cause them to break or tear.
I don't get it, is this a magic show?

well, the P I has some of lowest HIV rates and almost no one there uses condoms... around .1% of the population.

then again, young dudes wearing lipstick with an eye for foriegners are probably in that .1 percent arent they? damn. o well, ill still have fun next week.

just to put some more of my useles opinion in , i was in pattaya about 6 months ago andmet a couple of ladyboys that i'd fuked previously without condoms. both of them insisted on lights out and a condom this time. there asscrack and the area around felt rough and seemed a little dark in colour. i didnt even fuck the second one after noticing the trend. lights out were to fool me and condom was for their karma im guessing.

any idea what this kind of disaese might be?

i also noticed 2 ladyboys in bangkok who were both working in bars who had a dark streak running from their ahole area and a short way up their spine. one of them after showering still had an ass that smelt like something was wrong. thank god i was using a condom that time too. maybe the same disease?? it certainly was something wrong. any ideas?? it really woke me up and put me off going anywhere near the whore bars. (although yes, i know you pick up lovely take home diseases no matter where you find someone)

oh, and some of these facts are pretty interesting and dispell some myths http://www.thebody.com/asp/novdec03/lazarus.html

i guess we should especially avoid blacks, people under 21 and nonoxynol-9 laced condoms and lube. and stay out of pirson.

                    Hi to all,
Just my opinion, we're adult and consenting, anyone can choose himselves the way he like sex, naturally all of us know how risky is BB in any way and with any person, if we do this our choice, once we find any disease we've not to cry.
Honestly I prefere to have safe sex but I also understand who chose to have more daungerous sex.
                    Is up to you.
                    Enjoy yur life.

Rayton, all the best for you and I hope your tests come back negative, let us know how you get on.

For me I don't mind bare oral but when it comes to anal it's condoms only (Lifestyle extra strong-don't want breakage now do I).

As for figures, the only ones I want to see are the official figures, not the "I was told by" type but the actual figure taken from the girls tests.
I would be extremely disapointed if the rather high figures quoted are acurate because that would mean we are playing with fire and are, as sure as shit smells, going to get burnt at some stage.
I'm just passing wind here and that's just my opinion.

(rayton @ Aug. 01 2006,18:20) i'm just back from pattaya, i let one of pattaya's  more popular LBs fuck me to completion (my first time), and the condom broke.
i'm just wondering if anyone has accurate info on likelyhood of catching hiv from a one off encounter. i didn't see any blood but i didn't inspect her cock after.
i'm now on the drugs they give to hiv sufferers for 1 month as this is what docs give people who have been exposed to it upto 70 hours previously (although they have no accurate info on how effective this is).
incidently the docs were very reluctant to treat me as they said oral is very dangerous too which i'd done twice since last test - something they didn't used to think (even without cuts/sperm).
and if anyone has info on who has it i'd obviously be very grateful if i could check her name with you as i now have a 4 month wait for a test.

what i've learnt in last few days is that oral bareback is far more dangerous than the 2% risk i had in my head. also always use lube- i presumed a long sloppy rimming session and durex extra thick condom would be ok- wrong!
i already knew most have hiv are they are too stupid to ask for condoms so i only have myself to blame if it all goes wrong.
i just thought i'd post this in case anyone has any helpful info- but also as a reminder how its not worth playing unsafe. 5 minutes of sex has led to hours and hours in hospital, and lots of worry- from immediate panic to 4 months of not knowing what the future will hold.
Rayton, good luck to you,but who is that sweet dark honey in your Avatar?Iwant her in October when i go!!!email me:[email protected]

While they have made great progress with the education of condoms because of their sex trade, Thailand still has a large problem because of the many intravenous drug users. Lots of heroin addicts. I think the last statistics I read was that it was still in the top ten in HIV for the world. Except for India and Thailand, all other countries were found in Africa.

Philippines has a rather low rate of HIV, maybe because they do not have an opium market.

There were a lot of articles during the AIDs conference here that Thailand was No.1 in implementing safe sex practices since 1993, but that those practices had deteriorated in young teens in the last few years, and teens were the HIV epidemic now (and maybe drug users).

We're probably at the point where I'd agree with Stogie --- facts would be good now if anyone has them vs all of trying to remember what we read some time ago.
