Many years ago, in another S.E. Asian country, we used a deck of cards to count our days left in country. When you had 52 days left you would take a deck and throw one card out,and again on each following day. On the last morning the last card would go, and in a short while the plane would lift off on the way back to the world. This morning I threw out the first card. Early in the morning of April 19th, my plane takes off for my April 20th arrival in LOS. 39 days: Pattaya, Phuket, Phi Phi, Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, and Bangkok. Needless to say, I am looking forward to this.
