Soccer is a great game for sure, and i even played it as a kid...

But i just cant get into the game as a spectator and i'm yet to see a game of soccer ever compare to a great game of AFL (no point debating as its what you a brought up on).

The highlights clip though, that's another story .. greatly entertaining

As for popular Whore... i think there is no argument in that nor passion (but i don't think popularity determines what makes a great sport) c.f. cycling in Europe

Well, if we lose I just hope it goes OVER the 2 1/2 goals!!!! Thats what i wagered on anyways. Also bet on germany and England to get to the semis....

You should be on stage mate, now whore & I were both brought up on GAA sports & I think that Hurling is the finest sport in the world to watch.............................for a Paddy.
You cannot mention AFL in the same breath as the "Football World cup" excuse the pun, different league !

I respect your views on LB a true connoisseur, but sorry Azza, don't agree on this one
