  • Jenny Star Bar - Sleaze Central

Walk down Walking Street any night of the year & you will see one of the wonders of the world - the Jenny Star Bar.

Every time I visit Walking Street, like a moth to the flame, I can't resist stopping to look or have a drink.

There are many familiar faces to be seen, last night there were Moo, Cartoon, Sonya, plus a dozen or so others.

Walking inside I spotted an absolutely beautiful LB, tall, very slim, hair pulled back in a ponytail, I wondered where she had been hiding?

Looking my way there was a momentary smile as she recognised me, then instantly it was gone as she turned back to her ever attentive boyfriend, yes...

it was none other than Nicky, looking the best I have ever seen her.

I could see there would be no talking to her but suddenly my attention was taken by another familiar face.

I have seen this one on the net, can't put a name to her but she had the complete look, slim & dressed in the tightest little outfit, I decided to introduce myself.

    This is the entire conversation:

    Me: "Hi"

Her" "You go with me, come my room now."

Me: "aaahh" thinking just a hello, where you come from, any fucking thing so I can get a clue about her, too late, she said something in Thai, turned away & I was dismissed.

Straight from the JSB school of diplomacy, if this is how she treats customers, I can only wish her good luck.

So now I am left standing with 3 or 4 others glaring at me & my visit was terminated for another night.

Every night I see the same angry looks, no, they are not aimed my way, there is a malaise in the place that speaks volumes about how bad business is.

Still I am drawn to return, the thrill of spotting the sex on show parading out the front, the giggling tourists who come up to stare, there is something so raw happening here, I can't resist it.

You know they will rip you off given half a chance, the customer is never right in this place.

Walking out I see some guy querying his bill. The crossed arms, the shake of the head, he had no chance. Poor bastard, I hope it wasn't a lot.
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

    You found her!!! Good job!
Now you only need to find out what happened to Nang Faa.

    Btw, Nickys boyfriend...was it frank?

          You Said it Pacman !

Two years ago that place a was fun central and I would be there drinking way past 4am in the morning. Now its a place I avoid, my last 3 trips to Pattaya I never even stepped in for a look.

I remember a lighter mood in JSB, when the girls wouldn't stop smiling, when "sanuck" was the order of the day,

....now, it is grim but still, the girls are what keep me coming back to look,
they dress either like the greatest sluts, with cut-off shorts made from 3 postage stamps,

....or they are in brightly coloured gowns, beautifully turned out, dressed for a ball.

              Or in this case.........balls.

                  Houston we have a problem....

it seems I am persona non-grata in Stringfellows I can't even get in the door & the reason is utterly ridiculous.

Not even Powerbob himself can resolve this conundrum, unless of course he wants to lose the best mamasan in Pattaya.

All for a total misunderstanding, I will just have to resign myself to every other bar in town, all of whom seem to be happy to take my money.

In 2008 I haven't been in Jenny Bar even once.

As I remember you pay after every drink so as long as you don't pay with a big bill any ripoff would be minimal.

When on Walking Street, the best options are EZY and Lita's IMHO.

                        My review of Stringfellows...

Of all the bars in Thailand its the best place to watch some dancing, have two cute girls sit next to you, share a drink, and stroke them off all at the same time.

(seanbeag7 @ Sep. 25 2008,17:21) so , what did u do or say to piss off that mamasam
                          It was simple really...

An American BM who shall remain nameless waved me over to join him on my first visit to Stringfellows.

The very first thing he asked me: "do you think any of these girls are on drugs?"

Answering him I said something like: "as most LBs are known to use something occasionally, I guess that would include a few of the girls here."

And in that fucking annoying way of repeating what was just said that so many Americans do, he shouts back at me:

"Oh you mean these girls use drugs?"

I went on to elaborate but it was too late, the girl dancing on the podium in front of us jumps off screaming that I say bad things about them, that ladyboys don't like when farang talk bad, etc, etc.

I protested innocence & thought nothing more about it, it wasn't till I went back with Sam & Rossco that I find that I wouldn't be served & was asked to leave.

Justice Pattaya style, guilty without the right of explanation.

I tell you, the Kitten Club keeps looking good to me.

You should go back and clarify, that you were saying the girls use VIAGRA and thats all you meant by 'drugs'

(and buy a round of drinks for the house)

They were not interested in hearing any explanation, if I really wanted to, I would consider buying my way in, but with only days before I return home, I will spend the money on worthier subjects.

Sorry Bob, nothing personal, I thought some of the talent was excellent but I never deserved to be treated this way.
