lol at the'popular' bit. Call me Mr Grumpy but it's my least favorite 3 days of the year. I don't mind the Thais having fun, it's the dickhead Falangs who kick the arse out of it.

I agree, a good time not to be in one of the tourist resorts......perhaps Songkran in one of the Issan provinces is a much more enjoyable experience.
