But dont spoil the prices for the poor guys coming there right after you !

Interesting thread.  I had to make a decision about my next trip today.  I ended up with 4 days in BKK then 8 days in Pattaya.  Based on my experience the best looking LBs can be found in BKK, but still I have more fun in Pattaya.  I was tempted to spend some more days in BKK but it has to be on another trip.

I ended up with Dynasty Inn Grande in BKK and LK Renaissance in Pattaya.  If anyone's interested the LK Renaissance is offering 40% off for 7 or more days stays.  1500 for their superior rooms is probably a good deal.

My budget for this trip is 140k Baht, which includes plane ticket and hotel.  When plane and hotel is paid I expect to spend 6-8k Baht/day.  Since this is a short trip I will spend more per day than my normal 1 month stays.  I have to do 4 weeks of fucking in about 12 days.  I hope the Cialis supply is good

Sorry for hijacking your post mate.
I have travelled thailand extensively over the last 8 years but not for LB's. First lb experience was in patts 4 years ago.
My question is: although i can find my way around patts, have been a couple of times,probably spent close to 4 weeks total, i would totally class myself as a novice in the lb game. I could easily find the bars having passed a couple, but would patts be to much for a lb novice, but not a thailand novice?

No I don't think so...The overwhelming things about Pattaya for the first timer are the logistics and not which bars to visit for ladyboys...

If you already know where the major areas are and how to get to those areas and how to get around Pattaya in general, and where to select a hotel, and how to get your ass back to your hotel at 3 am....you shouldn't have any problems...

But someone going to Pattaya alone for the first time is going to have to spend some time just learning north from south and Soi 6 on the left side of Second Rd and Soi 6 on the right side of Second Rd...

Will be there the 2 week of May or July not to sure yet, work offshore Tunisia at pressent and our hitches are changing quite a lot lately.

I know i wouldn't have a problem with patts, but lb only scene is going to be a little different, on the plus side i'm sure there will be some old GG haunts to check out for beers and some friends to look up.

Mind you 05 last time i was there, so looking forward to it

Im no expert, but I do have some experience...and also, I went to both BKK and Pattaya on my VIRGIN trip...and went to both solo, no wing man...though I did do some pretty intense research.

Not counting airfare, I think this is a pretty good budget for a newbie

1500b Hotel (breakfast included)
1000b Massage w/happy ending (many places to choose)
300b lunch (just you)
700b afternoon beverages (you, a beer or two for your new buddies, a lady drink or two)
0b nap/shower
1000b Dinner & Drinks w/LB you met at beer bar before she goes to work
500b Drinks at bar/bars in the hunt for your first LB of the evening
1500b Short Time w/an early draft pick (600barfine/900LB) at bar where your dinner date doesnt work
500b Drinks and ping pong balls in search of your overnight pick
2000b Long Time w/LB for overnight fun n games (600barfine/1400LB)
..................TOTAL 9000B

Next day, repeat above...til you simply cant get it up anymore, then throw in a few extra B for some viagra.

ofcourse, if you find someone you really like, a trip to the gold shop will require you to whip out the plastic...lol.

With Pattaya only a two hour cab ride away it's be a mistake not to see Sodom By The Sea.

Given your high end budget, I recommend staying at LK Renaissance in Pattaya. Just a two hour cab ride from your hotel

Pattaya is easy with a 24/7 transport system; it's rare to wait more than a minute for a baht bus.

So that you can hit the ground running I'll give you a guided tour of all the ladyboy venues. In a few hours you'll know how to get everywhere.
