I know what you are saying but that isn't the case regarding the farang price. The price for accomodation, nursing and phsycological support is optional/additional.

When I contacted Suporn clinic I specified that the operation was for a Thai national living in Bangkok, and they quoted a price in excess of 500,000 for SRS. I contacted them again about the price, telling them that it was for a Thai person and I was just enquiring on theri bealf, but the farang price remained. So I can't see that this price has anything to do with any extra services or accomodation needed. They actually sent me a lnik to suggested accomodation packages and support which wasn't included in the basic SRS quote.

Regarding the price. I believe SRS operations currently taking place are at 150,000, BUT they are about to go up to 180,000 for 6 months and then go up again to 200,000. The probelm is, teh price is relevant to when you ahve the operation, not when you book it, and as they claim to be booked up until February, they are currently quoting 200,000.

Ok, my direct experience is with Dr. Kamol. He told me you get free support 'take care' with farang price (not accommodation), but someone to visit you daily. So I'd assumed similar for Suporn. I know several girls who done this recently (Thai price), so I'm a bit perplexed at why you get this huge quote.

It is not surprising that Kliome as quoted the farang price when he initially inquired for his friend at Dr. Suporn's Clinic. They obviously concluded he was going to sponsor her, despite his protests and explanations, so there was no shifting once that was made.

Dr. Suporn is becoming more in demand, so he is raising his prices. Time will tell if he can continue that or not. There was a notice in 2006 on his website, that he would not raise his prices from the 2005 price levels - but things change.

While not all doctors will do this, you can be sure a significant percentage will, if they "sniff" that a farang is involved with a Thai. TIT!

Ziggy do you have any more details regarding Soaynam Clinic? I know you mentioned it is in Nonthaburi. SamplerDoc's trip is imminent, so it would help his fiance to check them out once they get to Thailand.

SamplerDoc - if your fiance contacted the clinic directly without your prescence, she would likely get an intermediate price if she also can show a Philippines passport (not her US one!). I have heard that there is an intermediate price for Asians more than Thai, but less than Farang.

I'll try and dig it up, but there is no internet site and they only do Thai people, so I don't think it's so useful. It is not geered up for foreigners. Their reputation is breasts, never heard of them for SRS.

WIth regards to Supoarn and Kamol

With Kamol now being a somewhat cheaper option, is this a fair reflection of Suporns superior ability or just reputation?

Do you think there is much difference between the two on the large scale?
I mean is Suporn really that much better or are you just pating for the name? (kind of like a designer vagina - which has a nice rhyme to it...)

It has to do with supply and demand. Dr. Suporn has earned a very good reputation with overseas clients and his bookings are pretty far in advance.

However, there are still a number of Thai patients as well, and those who can afford him, will see him.

Dr. Kamol is not as well known among the overseas clients yet, but if and when that happens, the prices will likely go up as well.
If Dr. Kamol's newest technique delivers consistent results, word will probably travel quickly among the Thai patients and he will become busy. The prices may go up - but not to the level of Dr. Suporn, as long as the foreigners stay low.

Something to remember is how many procedures has the particular surgon done. This will usualy result in a better job. Some one I havent seen mentioned is Dr Preecha. He has done over 3000 SRS's and actualy taught Suporon. His prices are in the middle range.

preecha is a bit old now...eventhough he is the grandfather of SRS...i think many ladyboys would choose younger doctors with the good records...on the other hand...he does have experience on his side and I did see many clients going to his clinic...among them were American women who had been there only a few months in between so there are indeed many people who patronize dr. preecha

Update now after 8 years.

The top 3 SRS doctors in Thailand are:

Dr Suporn (stays in first place)
Dr. Teerapong (new doctor based in Bangkok). Clinic is located in Rama 2 Soi 2. Website: Bangkok Cosmetic Surgery Clinic
Dr. Kamol (moves down one place).

Inflation has affected the prices drastically over the past 8 years.

Dr. Suporn is now charging 300,000 Baht
Dr. Teerapong is charging 250,000 Baht
Dr. Kamol is charging around 200,000 Baht

These are all Thai prices (not long stays in the hospital). The farang price would be significantly more.

Here is my experience from August 2010 with Dr. Kamol's MTF clinic.

My friend Cake from Bangkok was going to have her SRS surgery, she had raised the money herself basically.
She said that no one in her family was really supporting this, so I decided to come to Bangkok and accompany her to the surgery.

She had chosen Dr. Kamol and the MTF clinic. the price for the latest SRS surgery was about $220,000 baht in 2010.
She said he was partners with Dr. Suporn, but I am not clear if he actually was or possibly learned from him.
I know Kamol had lots of satisfied clients, many famous too.

So we went to the clinic which I believe was way north on Ratchada in Bangkok, there wasn't much near by.
First she went to the ATM and took out all the money in cash, just like you would expect in Thailand.
This was the MTF clinic but it closed not long after and he was operating from a hospital until his newer clinic was finished.
Looks like this newer clinic is Kamol hospital, the old website redirects there.

So we go into the clinic which seems very nice and pay them the wad of cash, then she is admitted.
We are taken to her room via the elevators which are all decorated with famous ex patients.
The room is nice but sparse, there is two single beds but she actually has the room to herself.

So I stayed until they kicked me out at around 10pm. The next night was her surgery at around 8pm.
At that time I escorted her into the operating room which was very small, much smaller than the ones in the new clinic on their website. Cake tried to get them to allow me to stay with her over night but after the surgery started they sent me away.

So after everything seemed to go ok and the next day I came to see her while she started her recovery.
She said a white american doctor actually did the surgery and Kamol only watched. A nurse slept on the floor of her room all night, I assume due to the lack of high tech monitoring systems. Occasionally though there is a bad infection or bleeding that needs immediate attention they say.

I had to go back home to Canada before she got out. She went back to her apartment to recover even though I thought she should have stayed with Mama and papa. She had some bleeding complications at night one time and the doctor was not available outside certain hours, so she had to go to a hospital. They did what they could to stop the problems but would not do much as they said the doctor that did this is the only one that knows how to fix it. They didn't want to make things worse.
This all could have been due to her not resting properly and going to 7-11 herself and who knows what else.
So SRS doctors may not be available for emergency services, and they did charge extra for subsequent consultations.

The first time i saw the pussy it was very nice. It looked smelled and tasted real, plus it was self lubricating.
Other than a bit of scarring at the top it was almost perfect. Later she had more problem and had to have a subsequent surgery. After this surgery it looked the same but lost the self lubricating feature. She had a very small amount of material to work with in the beginning so this could have lead to the problems she had maybe.

She seems happy with it now but she doesn't want to take hormones for some reason, but that is another story...

That's an interesting ad, and I'm not so sure it is legitimate.

Thanks for posting about you and your gf's experience with Dr. Kamol. It would have been likely she asked a couple of her friends to help her post-op recovery. That tends to be the situation if an lb doesn't get her family to help. Sorry to hear that she had complications with her surgery. Since it is a complicated procedure, complications even with the better doctors can occur. The better doctors will correct problems at no or little extra charge.

I will be getting an updated list of breast augmentation surgeons as well.
