Elections on April 27th in Pattaya

I heard about this on another site. Does anyone know how disruptive it is to the bars?

Well Stringfellows cancelled their party so its likely that all bars will be closed

Bars ARE CLOSED in Pattaya this Sunday.

The circulars to the bars came round yesterday. Grrrr!

That will be Saturday 18:00 hrs till Sunday 24:00 which is the election law, we just did it in Phuket last w/e.

When that happens are there usually girls mulling about on some of the streets pick up or is it slim pickins? Maybe I should plan to go to Bangkok from airport on Sat and come out to Pattaya on Monday, bummer.

Same same as every erection in the past 6 months, all 6 of them
Bars here will close at 6pm on Saturday and not reopen until 1159pm on Sunday.
Therefore, most bars will just stay shut until monday

Now I need a reservation at a BKK LB friendly hotel quick. Nana is all booked. Have e mailed majestic suites. Hopefully they'll have a room. Any suggestions for last minute bookings? The adventure begins. I'll look for some of you guys in Obsessions instead of Stringfellows!!

Buddy, You can try Grand Inn on Soi 3, 1000 bahrt or Omni Soi 4, 2000 baht. Both are very easy walks to Nana/Guess.

Not at all, before the coup in September 2006, they were having elections every other week....until they got it right...people kept voting "NO"
