yes, there is a going rate for st & lt, but if it means losing the girl you really want to spend time with, then that should be ignored....

On my most recent trip, six weeks in Thailand, I rarely spoke about price beforehand. But if it makes you feel more at ease then get the price clarified upfront.

I had lots of repeats though, spent 14 nights with one (though not in a row), traveled North with another 7 nights, and met a new cutie in Lamai that I spent 5 nights with.

..well, what's this "going rate" B.S.?? If ya want class ya gotta pay for it! Since when can u rent a Caddy for the same price as a Ford Escort?  When i was in my early 20's i thought i should get it for free, now that I'm alot older i realize how foolish that thought was..  come on now, u really dont expect Natalie & Areeya to get "the going rate"??  If it was me it would be an insult, and even though Areeya gets mixed reviews, you can't expect you'll always get the best service, they are human after all and they have emotional ups & downs just like we do!  So lets be realistic, they can set what ever rate they like & we can take it or leave it,  it just depends on how much you wanna spend on your fantasy LB..

One thing you have to keep in mind is that Jon (Jai Dee) and you, the members of Asian TS have made them superstars. I knew Areeya prior to the implants and superstar status and she was a beautiful girl with a fantastic attitude. Now she knows she is a superstar and it has gone to her head. Still a great girl, but more primadonna then ever lately.

Natalie is the Diva of BKK and I have watched her go 4 ST's in 3 hours, so if you are going to take her for the night you better be ready to pay. Natalie puts on that amazing outfit, gets up on stage, dips her chin and gives the sexy look and BAM! Another ST down the drain. Superstar status in KC3 is determined on what time you show up for work at night, or if you show up at all. Natalie very rarely gets to work prior to 10pm, and she is definitely not there everynight.

But then again all of this depends on the time of year, as we all know that during low season anything and any price is available.
Pay what you want, but remember that the next group of superstars are on their way up. Not long ago (this is my opinion) it was Kitty and Som, then Nancy, then Natalie (who I must admit is holding her own) and now Areeya. But Nong and a few others are gaining ground quickly. (We all have our favorites and that is not the point of this post).

The most remarkable thing for me is the dramatic changes in the quality of the girls over the past 6 years. I encourage the girls to get as much as they can but I have been with the superstars before they were stars and they were worth what I paid, and we are still friends.

You let the girls set their own rate then you might as well be one of those guys that throw down $1000 for a new set of implants or $800 so they can go buy an original Gucci Bag, these things have actually happened to girls I mention in this post.

I tell you what these girls almost like more than money..its respect. Being willing to take them out in public. Walking into the hard rock, any good restaurant, disco, or just MBK to see a movie means a lot to them. Especially the new girls.

When I talk about going rate I'm not talking about the superstars, but rather ladyboys and girls between the 20th and 80th percentiles. And I'd much rather have an attractive ladyboy with a great attitude than a stunner with a bad attitude. I don't want to go to bed with anyone with a bad attitude. And I certainly don't blame popular girls who can do multiple shorttimes in an evening to clarify the price upfront and insist on a high price.

What about the average girl or ladyboy who rarely gets barfined twice in an evening? One approach is for her to give such tremendous value that a customer is compelled to give her repeat business maybe taking her on as a girlfriend. The second approach is to try to squeeze as much possible out of a customer on night one especially if she smells new blood. Obviously, both approaches work cause if they didn't work the girls would stop using them. I prefer sharing my bed with the first type.

PigDogg, you are so right my friend....Attitude is everything! You can take the most beautiful looking LB who makes you stand at attention within seconds.....put a bad attitude on her and there is nothing than turns me off more. I'll take an average looking LB in LOS anyday over a superstar with a major (or even minor for that matter) attitude problem. The problem is, sometimes that attitude does not come out until your back in the room....so it's a hard thing to figure out sometimes? I guess spending some time with them before you go directly to the room (ie..dinner, movie, etc) would be a good idea? You guys agree? Only problem I can see here is that a superstar will wanna get back for the next barfine (especially if your paying her s.t), so there is little time to waste on these things.

I just see if the vibe seems right in the bar, and sure sometimes I'm wrong.  With girls, there's so many bars that if you don't like the one that youn just bought a drink for, you can get up and go to another bar.  With ladyboys it's trickier since theres a limited number of ladyboy bars.  

I don't like it when girls ask foer a drink.  Prefer the system in Cocktals and Dreams where the girls are not permitted to ask for drinks but somehow I wound up buying more drinks for girls there than anywhere else.   If i'm talking to a girl, I'll generally offer to buy her a drink before she asks.  If a girl asks for a drink after 5 minutes of chat I think that's reasonable but if you want to get rid of her don't buy her a drink cause then it's even tougher to get rid of her.

In Obsessions when you walk in the door you will be surrounded by all the girls asking for drinks.  One approcoach is to choose one girl tahtbseems best abd buy her a drink and chat.  Some guys ask for the mamasan and buy her a drink.  

I wish that there was a bar back home this very minute where beautiful 22 year ladyboys were begging me to buy them a $2.50 drink and rubbing my thighs while drinking, so have fun with it!

I agree with this to a certain degree but I think where your analogy falls down Anicon is if you are saying we should pay more for girls like Areeya because a Cadillac is worth more than a Ford Escort then should we not also get better service?

Anyway I think the basic theme here is that most people are saying pay what you want as long as both of you are happy. Have to say this is exactly the way I feel. But for the guys who are new to the scene the stated "going rates" are a good guide to start with.
