    At least the VB has a bit more taste than some of the others quoted above.

    The only bears I really like are HSD, Wadworths 6X and the best of the lot  - Youngs.
    No Stewart/Thaipan not Youngers - Youngs - brewed in Wandsworth, South London.

    For our American friends these are British beers best drunk warm as you'd call it.
    (Yes I know the joke about why do the British drink warm beer )

    Unfortunately you can't get any of these in LOS - or at least I haven't found them yet.
    If you could I might seriously consider moving there permanently

      No you can't - actually I can't find them anywhere on the continent either. It's a pity because I love this stuff. Of course there is nice Belgian and German beer here as well, but a lukewarm strong draft Youngs is something really different.
      What about opening a Brit pub somewhere on Sukhumvit - I'm sure there are a lot of expats who miss their ales.
