Unil I get the bulk of my debtload under control, realistically I won't be able to get to Thailand for three to five years. It would take a minor miracle for me to get there any sooner.
Anyone care to venture a guess what the LB scene in LOS will be like then.

Just think of Taiwan, Hong Kong, these places used to be as cheap as chips but they aint now. Maybe it will be ten years but my gut instinct tells me that maybe in 5 years the rack rate for a shag will be a lot more than just 2000 plus inflation

Price for a nice dinner for 2 with some nice wine etc in the US is about $10 USD

If you take inflation into account and the likely drop in the exchange rate then expect to cough up about twice as many greenbacks for 1000 bahts as you do now. maybe even more.....

I remember when Thailands exchange rate was 35 baht to a UK pound along time ago and this is the likely scenario for 5 years time as the country evolves. The days of 80 bahts to the pound are over although i hope i am wrong.

Also you find that less and less Thai people will want to become prostitutes as the economy chuggs along and gets stonger.

Theres certianly a lot less bodies on the game in Patpong as there was in 1990.
