This underlines my comment earlier that it's about what you make of yourself and your life. Too many people seem to think that ladyboys aren't "allowed" to do "proper jobs" because of prejidice or social marginalization. That's like someone whining that he can't be a Doctor simply because he's too lazy to study!
Life IS fair and if you want to be an airline hostess an office manager or even a world class makeup artist for movie companies then your sexual orientation is NOT a barrier.
Too many people are talking to friendly prostitutes and thinking that this is real life!
Even my friend on another thread said "Most of the ladyboys I speak to say this work isn't open to them!" But he has only ever spoken to whores so how would he know this?

My ex-gf told me there was a policy against hiring LBs as flight attendants for LBs, but this was about 3 years ago, so things may have changed!

We shouldn't get the impression here that there is NO prejudice against LB's in Thailand, just because an uncountable one-tenth-of-a-percent have a regular job. You don't know the social background of those girls - also upper class families have LB daughters - nor if they might have won an important beauty contest with press/ TV coverage - which means a lot in Thailand, etc.
I also dare saying that being a flight attendend is for sure a fun job, but you don't do an MBA, , MA or PhD to become a flight attendend or do some office work. I know quite a few really bright tgirls in Thailand with MBA's from Chula, Thammassat and one even from abroad and none of them have an adequate profession. Most of them work - luckily - in their parents companies because they just didn't get anything at Siemens, Procter, BCG or Shin Corp, like their fellow students. Just being bright and/or diligent doesn't mean anything!!!
Those girls would probably be already directors or vice-presidents in those companies if they would have stayed with the gender they were accidentily born with.
Equality means that an average talented, bright TS would have the same chances as a gg or guy of the same level and status - and that's so not true!!!
Not in Thailand nor anywhere else on this planet!

absoultely true .........i know i lot of ts girls now in the philippines who were my classmates, my schoolmates some on the other school who where most of the topnotchers in school and the one who are qualified to compete with any quizbowl or any types of political debates and rallies.......... but some of them are unlucky enought not to get a deans list or being on the rank of the most honorable students cause of thier genders.....i know a lot of ts who get a lot of A's from thier school reports but non of them get a decent job and just end up waiting and hopping for things to happen some of them just be an escort, work in japan as entertainer, being involve in beauty pageants or sometimes lucky if rich and has lots of connection she can be on the fields of arts fashion,entertainment or even bieng one of the people behind the showbiz life, or maybe start her own business or inherrit the business of her family if she accepted for who she is.... while some of them give up and just dress back as a man so that they could get a nice position on an office job in a big company
although some ladyboys here in the philippines work in the office like call center, but its the only way they can good job while some of them get tired of working on the call center and wanted more.....or wanted a job that for them is fun and also money............i know a ladyboys in the philippines who is so lucky to work in the big advertising agency in the philippines just because she knows how to socialize people everywhere and she has lots of connections
many ladyboys has lots of credibility to prove like talents,in the field of arts and entertainment, and also a good phsycologist..........
if only people try to see the differences and be more open minded and give oppurtunity to a lot of people whom they think its "not normal" and treat them "normal" then you can get free LB if you want to cause they have a job they have thier own income they dont depend on other man to support them or work as a prostitute.....they can have sex for thier own pleasure not for the sake of moneysexy,filthy,rich its good to be snejanaComment
