  • Condom broke, please help

Hi, I took a LB from Casanova for LT last week and we had anal sex (I was on top), and during that the condom broke, but I only realised afterwards, after I came into her.
I panicked and went to a hospital in BKK where they gave me some Crixivan.
The LB in question reassured me that she was clean but I wanted to be sure so I asked her to come with me (in exchange for some little money) to do an HIV check in an hospital in BKK. The test was negative but I wonder, maybe I'm too paranoid but is it easy to fake a test in Thailand if you give some money to the right person ?
I must be too panicked to reason, but I just wonder if it happened to you, and what did you do ? Should I ask to receive tri-therapy ?

I read that insertive (on top) anal sex was less risky than receptive, but still there's always a risk, and the HIV test is only valid for 4 weeks before. Please give me some advice, I need your help !

Crixivan is an HIV protease inhibitor used in combination with other medicines to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection.

I wouldn't worry too much about it since it was you cumming in her... the other way around would have been something of alot higher a risk to you.

all you can do now is wait 6 months and then have an HIV test.

i understand your worries, i was worried after my first condom-break in los too. after countless breaks i never worry, just put on another one and keep on where i left.

im not sure how easy it is to bribe anyone at the hospital, and why would she. if she expected she got hiv why would she come with you in the first place?
and what about the lb, she is the one that has been exposed to semen in her rectum, so if you get hiv through sex she is the one that should worry.

can i ask you which hospital you went to?
if you went to one of the 'western-oriented' hospitals like brumungrad, there is no chance she could pay the right person to get a negative test.

if you really freaked out about this, maybe you could find comfort here:

Hi, and thanks for your replies. I will do another check in 1 month, I'll see a doctor when I'm back home too. I have to wait for 6 months to be sure then ? That's quite a long time...
I went to PYH (Piyavate), I agree with you that she doesn't have much to gain from bribing, she tried to calm me down when it happened by saying she was clean but how can I believe anyone I first met, especially in these circumstances ? Thanks for the link too, I'm checking it.

from what ive heard 90% hiv cases are detectable after 6 weeks. 99% after 3 months.

the hospital you went to is should be reliable.

this will work out fine for you im sure, so try to relax.

maybe its unfair to the lady, but who was she?

Contingency plan would be to do the HIV test on both yourself and the girl as you have done. However, one might not have developed the antibodies immediately after exposure and that there is a point in repeating the test in a month.

Further, testing for hepatitis B would also be helpful.

I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST the opinions expressed about unprotected sex. It is definitely a NO-NO and must be avoided at all cost. That means, anal and even oral sex. The risk are all CONSIDERABLE for unprotected anal, oral and vaginal intercourse. Its similar to the saying that the risk of dying from being shot at by a automatic pistol, a rifle and a poisoned arrow are not the same. Yes, they are all lethal and deadly !

Thank you, I'll try to relax, the doctor at the hospital was an intern and he didn't seem to know his stuff. I'll see what my doctor tells me at home, I wonder if I should continue the drug he prescribed me from what I've read on the web. Sorry I won't give her name right here, I'll send you a pm.
warry, I will consider an hepathisis B test too, looks like I need to wait 1 month on that one but I'm more scared by the hiv one right now. Of course I agree with you on the risk factor, I never intended to have unprotected sex in the first place.

keep getting checked and in the meantime just play with yourself so no one esle is at risk.

Let us know that you are okay when your last test is done.

                bye for now.

You mean to tell me you've never been vaccinated against Hepatitis B and your playing with Ladyboys in Thailand?

Hepatitis B is what you really need to be worried about since it€™s 100 to 200 times more contagious then HIV and can kill you too.

You're right Hep B is 100 times more virulent/transmisable because it is found in higher concentrations and can actually live on the surface of the skin. 90-95% of healthy persons however will fight off Hep B and then become immune to it. HIV is for life!

I think another important issue for the punters is they should be using quality condoms. I never use Thailand condoms as they appear to be thin and unreliable. I always bring 5 packets with me, extra-strong condoms for anal and other different types for BJ's etc, lube, dildo.

Just watch their fingernails as they can tear the condom without you knowing it. This occurs when they use their hand to pull your dick or insert it in the cavity of choice.

Only happened once but I remember thinking that feels really good in fact too good. So I thought I would pull the old fella out and have a look and what did I see but 2 finger nail impressions on my cock with the condom looking very sad and sorry. She said, "Do you use Thai Condom?" I said "No" but it would help if you didn't tear the condom off my dick.............another crazy way for them to manipulate you and your mind.

Chin up dude, you will be okay!

Alternatively, you can get a PCR test which tests for the viral load (vs. antibodies). I have had these done before and you cut your waiting time way down (see below).

These tests are available at Bumrungrad Hospital in BKK (see the infectious disease specialists, NOT the urologists).

Here are a few details and a link for you.

Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR): The quantitative PCR, also known as the viral load test, is considered to be highly reliable for someone who may have recently been exposed to the virus, particularly in a high-risk situation. If the virus is present, the quantitative PCR will reveal how much virus is in a person's bloodstream (the viral load). In most cases, a quantitative PCR is highly accurate within 48 to 72 hours. However, a small number of people don't have viral loads that are high enough to confirm a diagnosis until 28 days after exposure. The most widely available quantitative PCR test, Amplicor® version 1.5, can detect subtypes A through G, which account for 99.96% of HIV infections in the U.S.

The standard recommendation is that a negative PCR result be confirmed with an ELISA test at 13 weeks.

                        Hope all turns out ok.

Aids and hiv are different but same aids is the anti bodies and hiv is the virus you can have the antibodies with out having the virus but it does not work the other way around . 2 examples magic johnson had aids not hiv and greg louganis. What you do not here is that a small % do not get full blown hiv but aids only.

I know this due to training i have had to do in relation to my security jobs in past and present plus it was also part of coaching course i did.

1st done soon after you suspect may need to have a check.

2 done 3 months as you may not have virus but antibodies build up around this time if just aids.

6 months as all antibodies and virus will show at this point.

After 3 months 95% people eho have no anti bodies will test negative at 6 months and go on to screw lbs for years to come.

Not trying to make fun of your situation but,

A couple of years ago i had a friend in Pattaya who had a condom break while he was having sex with  a gg and in the morning he was so sure he had caught AIDS from this single disaster that he was almost unconsolable...

My other friend then proceeded to take the piss out of him and told him that of course he had AIDS , because everyone who breaks  a condom gets AIDS.....

                              No matter what the circumstance....

To be qhite honest i think you would have more chance winning the Lottery than catching AIDS from this one misfortune.....

Chill out buddy........what about the poor ladyboy who you had just cum inside ?

Just as well you were the giver and not the taker.......
