(Snick @ Feb. 28 2007,22:46) Moore was good in the beginning, but the last few of his films were so lame ('View to a Kill', 'Moonraker') that it pushes him down on the list
I think that's a valid criticism. How much was down to him as opposed to the scripts etc. is, however, another question.

I still like his tailor   (Maybe dave knows who that was ?)

I agree that the new guy looks very promising. I never found Brosnan convincing, although he did it well enough in his own (commercial) way.

I think the new Bond has the potential to take us back to the real deal

that Roger Moore wained a little in his Bond role towards the end but then again I think its hard to play a vibrant Bond when you are in your middle fifties

I did however have the pleasure of meeting and speaking to Sir Roger once  during a game at Old Trafford at half-time when he did a function for UNICEF to which Manchester United F.C. are also affliated

I forgot to ask who his tailor was though

Always a big fan of the dapper Roger Moore. I thnk his tounge-in-cheek approach and sheer class put him above the others. He never tried to make the character 'real.'

I also liked him in The Saint and The Persuaders also.

I like Sean Connery, but boy he makes some bloody horrible movie choices.

                            Dalton? A franchise in trouble.

Brosnon? Looking for a Roger Moore!

                            Craig? Looking for someone cheap.
