  • Ross & Brand: What should the BBC do?

Since last Friday there have been over 10,000 complaints into the BBC over the airing of a sick sketch that involves Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand who rang up Andrew Sachs who is better known as the spanish waiter Manuel of Fawlty Towers fame.

Anyways, they got onto Mr. Sachs answer machine and then started the most horrid and vile act of disgracing the wonderful actor by claiming that brand had slept with Sachs granddaughter, Georgina Ballie

This is the piece that has made so many people complain:

I just want to see what everyone else thinks about all this,

And this is the second part of the sketch:

I personally can't find anything funny in all of this, and i think that both Ross and Brand should be fired.

Latest news is that Brand has resigned. This probably gets the BBC off the hook because there is no way that they will sack the overpaid talentless Ross. They are too worried that he will go to a commercial rival.

Hopefully this incident is another step in getting rid of the stealth tax known as the TV Licence.

Believe it or not , my TV is rarely on nowdays , I read the papers and check out anything I want to watch if not I don't even turn it on .

This is just another crass example of the complete rubbish that passes as entertainment , the goal seems to be to bully people , be offensive or make a fool of yourself to be famous nowdays .

The biggest joke is we all fund it to the tune of £130 per year in the UK .

Also I just don't get that Russell Brand fellow at all , dressing and looking like he does he deserves a good "shoeing " on a Saturday night
Free your mind and your ass will follow .

This was on the news in the Netherlands. OMG! What is this about. I love watching the JR show, British TV is so much better compared to Dutch TV

Brand has now quit the BBC and taken all responsibility. Ross's £5 mill salary is safe for a while...

At least it gets the grim financial news off the front pages for a day or 2
seriously pig headed, arrogant, double standard smart ass poster!

They (and the hacks at Radio 2) should have been suspended the moment it happened.

Brand will make a fortune out of this. What the BBC gives him is peanuts.

                  That boorish buffoon Ross escapes.

The BBC is notorious for shitting on fans. They cheat the phone in shows on kids programs, they regularly fake documentaries...

It's no better (or worse) than any other TV/radio station.

It's a national disgrace and should have been overhauled many years ago.

                        Overated Overpaid and Overhere

A right pair of clowns but good work if you can get it i suppose. Maybe it will come to pass that the EU ends up with whats called a X30 pay rule

In the West some Companies pay up to 500 times more to the top employees than the baseline guys. It is muted that a X 30 rule will be up for the vote in the years to come... so if the base wage is 10,000, the maximum would be 300,000 groats in any Org.

Or some shit to that effect, not exactly Socialism but not far fetched either.

no they havnt fallen.......they still get my £135 a year to pay for assholes like ross wether i like it or not,any idea how many licence fees its takes from us all to pay cunts like him to live a life of luxury eh? fuckin disgrace...............makes me fuckin sick, everybody should refuse to pay the next licence,im considering it and looking into possible outcomes,if i can get a good story going and add some twist,i may well get a newspaper story out of it and pocket a nice fee for selling it.. that would be no different to the way these so called celebrity cunts behave. IM MAD AT THIS STORY!
