"Gentlemen and ladies, 'Those Who Stay Will Be Champions' is for you too. It's for every Michigan fan that's out there. When the going gets tough, you don't cut and run. It's not the Michigan way. If I heard it once from the old man, I heard it a thousand times -- when the going gets tough you find out who your real friends are, and that's why we must stay. Because there will be championships, and this staff and these kids will bring those championships here."

I wouldnt get too excited. Your beloved Saints are truly stumbling and bumbling to the finish line. Whomever they play in the first round, I would be shitting myself if I were a Saints fan!!!
      Be careful out there!

(BlueBallz @ Dec. 29 2009,20:59) Saints are truly stumbling and bumbling to the finish line.
They haven't looked good since  November

eagles are the team to beat in the NFC  right now, and a week [or 2] resting ain't gonna do the Aint's any good before they play their next meaningful game. PLAYING keeps a team focused and winning......just ask the pathetic excuse for a team called the baltimore-indy Colts; after that horrible excuse for a 1/2 game on sunday when they laid down and let the jets beat 'em they deserve to lose forever now and will hopefully be one and out in playoff time.

Playing keeps you sharp.....sitting is bad.

The Saints will still reap the benefits of in indoor stadium and home field plus they will have their injured defense and Jeremy Shockey ready to go.

I wouldn't rule this team out. The two games they lost were extremely close.

every team benefits from playing on their home field ...... the saints are no different and actually until about week 10 or 11 I thought they were far and away the best team and the league and their point totals proved that point. It's just that lately they have been shaky....not only in the 2 losses but also in winning some close ones where they could have just as likely lost.

Not counting 'em out at all.....just thinking that the Eagles, same as the patriots, are streaking at the best time of the year to do just that.

I expect the Jets to beat the Bengals this week and make the playoffs, and once there, are the kind of team that could do some damage. They have a very good OL, strong running game and the best defense in the league for points allowed.
