  • The 'Quote' function...

    I know its proably old ground and I should be doing more research but can anyone explain in simple terms how an old trog like me lifts a quote from a previous post and gets it into a nice white box with the originators name on top. Please Captain Stogie dont shout at me you no I dont like it

      And you can edit the post in the box containing the quote...

          If you still have trouble with the "Quote" feature then ask Stewart. He's a whizz at this stuff.

          I think he got this one nailed in less than three years!

                      69billy, you can do it this way:

                      Copy the text you want to be quoted, then hit the Quote button, paste the text, and finish by clicking the Quote button again.

                      Repeat for a second post.

                      If you do it this way, you do not get the original poster information with the quote.
