  • Upscale TG/LB friendly hotels in Manila?

    Dear fellow tgirls lovers,

Sorry to bother you with but i am afraid i need you help.I was planning to visit Manilla on my next trip to Asia (in November).I really loved Thailand but because i made some tgirlfriends in Europe that are from the there i thought i atleast check it out for a few days.

Now when i visited thailand for the first time i got some wonderful info on tgirl friendly hotels from some guys here on the forum (settled for the Westin on Sukhumvit absolutely loved it and going back there this November).

What i am mainly looking for is a fivestar hotel, that isnt to expensive (between a 100 and 150 dollars a night for a normal room) and that is tgirlfriendly (didnt have any problems at all in Bangkok).

Tgirlfriendly is the most important thing here people (so may cost a little more if the tgirlfriendliness is especially apt).

*sorry try to search the forum but am quit lazy plus really suck at it because couldnt really find the info i was looking for*

Cheers and thanks for the help

Manila is a VERY expensive city.

I stay at Oxford Suites on Burgos St. USD 75, 3 start hotel. Step up to 4 star and you go above USD 100 easily. 20 yards from Shampoo ladyboy bar.

Suggest you try ShangriLa, Penninsula on Makati Ave on some of the hotel sites like Agoda.
Or in the Ermita area, the Heritage was nice...4 star, maybe not 5
Or the Pan Pacific overlooking Manila Bay....again, probably 4 star.
Don't know about the tgirl friendliness, but I would be surprised if there was a problem.

Shangri-la Makati - 150 to 200 USD depending on when you stay. Best spot in Manila, and no problems with guests. Close to downtown business, the "Greenbelt" - the top shopping and restaurants area and P.Burgos, where the LB bar "Shampoo is located.

Never a problem at the Pan Pacific, Malate - great rooms, average pool, but the top floor restaurant and bar provides an unmatched view of night time Manila

If you are staying at the Pan Pacific, you are a couple of blocks from the good nightlife in Malate (and the Mr. Lady bar if buying endless drinks is acceptable to you)

Malate / Ermita free lance action has declined dramatically in recent years - but as it is the gay nightlife center of Manila, you will often see batches of LBs together on the weekends in the bars, sidewalk restaurants, or comedy clubs

Sofitel Philippine Plaza is located about 2 km away from Malate on the bayfront - and, conveniently, immediately adjacent to the the theater where the Amazing Show goes on 2x nightly Tuesday > Sunday

Check the show out, chat up your favorite during the brief post-show picture taking session, tip well for a picture, and slip her your mobile phone number with an invitation for her (and, without fail, a couple of her mates) to join you for drinks and a bite to eat in Malate after the second show

Pan Pacific is perfectly located for this kind of fun

If you are going back to the Sofitel, the front desk staff (on the second floor of the hotel) will want to see your guest's ID and log her in - alternately, you can enter through the side entrance (parking lot between the hotel and Amazing theatre) and avoid any hassles by taking the elevator from the ground floor

If you will be there in the non-rainy season, the Sofitel has the best pool in Manila hands down

In Makati, no entry hassles at the Mandarin  - although if you dine in the hotel restaurants they may want to seat you away from the rest of the crowd

Makati Shangri-la ok for guests as well, but the hotel disco will ban your girl unless she is 100% passable

Best option for trouble-free fun Makati is one of the serviced apartment places - had good experiences at the Astor, there are others as well

You can book by the day or week, and enjoy all the comforts of home

Lastly - If you have already checked out of your 5-star hotel but are in the mood for an afternoon quickie with a Craigslist / Vicesisters girl before your flight, the Bellagio Hotel on P. Burgos has clean rooms, good prices, and perfect location

            Best of luck
