    Been there over a dozen times Jai Dee. What kind of budget or class of hotel are you trying to stay within?

      no real budget...ATS pays for everything as long as I get 1 or 2 *[or 10?] models in the can and a few other site-related things done. *I have narrowed it down to; NH Barbizon, Crown Plaza, NH Schiller and the SAS Radisson downtown.

      I need;

      internet access for sure, preferably hi-speed

      * Big rooms {I know, it's Europe and I won't get that, but not tiny either, I am kind of a big guy}

      * *Location, and all 4 have that; they are all a bit pricey also but again, Europe

      * Queen or King bed, none of that 2 small beds shit

      * * *good guest policies

      * * nice bathrooms??? *Cable?

      * *ruled out due to various bad reviews;

      * *Swissottel and Victoria, but still taking suggestions if something matches the above 4

      *thanks!

        The NH Barbizon Palace is one of my all time favorite hotels in the world. I absolutly LOVE the location, being directly in front of the train station and close to the red-light district. I have probably stayed the 50+ nights. With the value of the dollar however, it is getting very pricy these days. Be sure and shop the price on all the travel websites to find the best deal, the price varies wildly on the different sites.

        Also don't rule out the Prins Hindrikade (spelling?), directly in front of the Barbizon. Rooms there are neat, spacious and clean. Usually about 1/3-1/2 the price of the Barbizon. It is connected to a pub that you MUST go to called "The Swan". The pub is 400+ years old and very unique. Also the Grasshopper Bar (rock and roll bar) is just down the canal toward Dams Square, and it is an experience in itself.

        Hope this helps, let me know if you need any other tips.

              for the prices you are paying there you should get this! I am used to paying 60 bucks for 2 huge rooms at the Omni; paying 3 times that for a closet-sized room in Europe sounds like highway robbery but you have little choice

                  Jai Dee, why not just ask good ol' Jannie? Since she was there sharing herself with the anxious masses she should be well informed about places to stay, things to do, places to eat. Might be worth a try as it would seeem she owes a lot of her fame? to this website and payback is in order.

                        The Saow Thai is closed for the time being. There are rumours that it will open again in Sept. - but who knows. It's run by Thais.....
                        I'm not sure if Jannie ever worked here. Actually I don't think so, as I might have seen her around...

                            Hey Jaidee,

                            Could you do me/us a big favour ? If you are going to Amsterdam can you check out Sarita's Transsexual Club ? I've been meaning to do this for ages and from the website the models look great ! You might get the chance of a photoshoot possibly ? One of the members up here rubbished Sarita's website and called it a fake. It would be good to see if this club actually exists !! I have been in contact with sarita via email and she has told me that her club has private rooms to hire ( with jacuzzi) with the escorts !! The prices will scare you though - she quotes between 150 -200 Euro/hour depending on the model. That is between 185-245 US dollars !!!

                            It could be worth checking it out and just having a look at the joint. Her website is saritaclub.nl/menu.

                            You actually have your banner posted on her links page to.

                            Thanks

                            Inde.
