Anyone had the pleasure of flying with Ethiad? Or heard any good or bad stories for that matter...They got some cheap flights in September. Like Sri Lankan airlines who ive flown with There a sister company or something like that with Emirates... Any words as always appreciated.

Etihad Airways are a brand new Airline operating from Abu Dhabi, they have been designated the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates. With a seemingly limitless budget they are set to become one of the top airlines. They already fly from the UK to Bangkok (via Abu Dhabi) 5 times a week, set to increase to 10 times a week by April 2005. The planes and levels of standard are of a very high standard, and if you don?t mind a stop on the way to Thailand they are a good choice. The fares are great value and currently there are departures from both Heathrow and Gatwick. The Economy (Coral) area has seating with good legroom and recline, the Business (Pearl) and First (Diamond) areas on the planes are laid out to a luxurious standard to make traveling on Etihad Airways a pleasure.
