    Thanks for that...

Hull is the best place on earth for Brits to go and get a Thai visa. Friendly and fast.

...would this be the same price for a visa for people coming from most countries? UK citizens don't have a "special" fee do they? unless consulates have some flexibility in what they can charge...aka "administration fees"
      ....so,  you're really a guy?..............

That's a good question. There does seem to be a bit of flexability as to how affiliated consulates charge for their services. 100 Quid for my visa is worth every penny though!

              No problem.
It looks like visa fees have gone up for visitors from all countries, so double check with your local Thai embassy or consulate for their latest information.

Just fyi info, my 2 cents worth.

The visa fees for Asians arriving at BKK is $ 28. Consuls normally charge each country, based on wat their citizens are charged.

36 hours to go, will spend 2 days at Nana, and 2 days in Pattaya. Nana hotel confimed, booked at Pataya hotel at Pattaya Bay Resort, hope it is close to walking street (1st trip there)., want to visit JSB. If anyone wants to join me in a drink PM me and give me contact details, will call hen I check into Nana.
