    Here's the Immigration Website

Btw, if you have a one year visa, you still need to report your address to Immigration evey 90 days. Sometimes they ask for a rental receipt or other documentation if you're an owner.

Not exactly, if u stay in a place for more than 90 days you 'should report'
if u have a one year visa, that requires u to leave every 90 day then this does not apply

personally I don't know anyone who complies with this and reports.

It's easy enough for me to report since Immigration is about a football field away from Sally Bar and only takes about 5 minutes.

        Every Visa is different.

        So for a:

One year renewable Retirement Visa - Pattaya Immigration Office in Jomtien

Not obliged to leave the Kingdom.
        Annual application requires
Proof of sufficient income per month (endorsed by Embassy/Consulate)
        OR
Lump sum, in a Thai Bank account, which should be in the account for 90 days prior to initial application. Renewals is 60 days.
Letter from Bank confirming sum on deposit.
        Proof of residency
Copy of Passport and a photo

After this annual application the individual MUST report every 90 days and show a statement/utility bill showing name and address in Thailand. You can be up to one week overdue BUT after this there is a daily cash penalty.

Subsequent annual renewal is allowed up to 30 days prior to expiry/anniversary.
For renewal funds should be in the bank for at least 60 days prior to expiry/anniversary

If in doubt speak to the British Consular office next door - they advise non Brits too and have a helpful team of staff.
