What do you miss?

There are lots of things that I miss about different places that I have lived.

Here are a few...

Sundays in the USA during the NFL season... Each Sunday I'd watch the Fox pre-game show, then work my way through the whole day on a diet of football and pizza! At the end of the day I'd watch a few british comedies that always aired on KERA the PBS broadcaster for Dallas/Ft Worth.

I miss those days...

I also miss normal seasonal weather. You know... cold in the winter and warm and sunny in the summer with a couple of strange bits like spring and autumn to keep them together.

I miss Taco Bell, Arbys and Long John Silvers. I miss Tex-mex food and also real Louisiana gumbo or ettouffe. (sp?)

Jimmy Dean sausage is also on the list as is pork scratchings, Twiglits, Jaffa cakes and ready to eat Indian meals from Waitrose!

People to talk to that have a sardonic and cynical sense of humour.

Walking aimlessly round the streets of my hometown watching the boats, etc...

...and many many more!

Most off all friends and family, wish I got to see them more often (and that more would visit)

Otherwise:
Good Mexican food.
Real Sidewalks that I can take long walks on...and roller blade
drivers who obey traffic rules
Skiing
A good bartender who can make anything ( Goong is learning though )

Breaker - you need to get yourself to Villa Market - all of the things you miss can be got there - except for the AMG - but then if you have enough cash - Benz will import it for you.....

And if I am not mistaken there is a 60% full jar of Branston in the Guess Bar fridge just waiting for some more pork pies to turn up.....

BTW what are the regulations about bringing meat products into LOS? I'd hate to turn up with a charity parcel for the chaps and end up banged up for illegal importation.

I doubt that I would attract the same support that Moo managed!

Miss watching Australian Football.

Being able to drive a few km to see my kids.

Watching my kids play football and cricket.

My friends and other family.

Good customer service.

The only thing I miss are
Mexican food and sometimes quiet streets without excessive motorcycle and dog noise.
