Never stayed here myself but I have now had two separate reports from friends who recently have and they both rate it as incredible value for money.
And with rooms from 620 Baht per night it is not difficult to see why !

i stayed there this year and sunview place which is 5 minutes away,same price but 100% better hotel and LB friendly

Always seems busy. Right opposite the entrance is a decent bar called Le Katai. Check it out, good grub and good sports coverage, also busy.
