Last went there in 2004 springtime. Had the LB GF with me. We stayed in Wanna's Place no probs there. No probs anywhere really, but being the south (muslim out of town) expect stares and gobbing off if your LB is noticeable! My GF isn't and we love the place, never had any problems.
There are a few beer bar type places just behind all the eateries and tourist tat shops, girls seemed below par and NO LB's! Best take your own, and rent a car. We are going back in December and expect to see development akin to Phuket a few years ago.
First time we went about 2 years ago everywhere seemed to close at 10 pm--not sure that will be the case now!Comment
