          Hi Ernesto

re your Phnom Penh side trip. Le Cyrcee is still up and running in PP and I dropped by there last night for a chat with Hassan the owner. It's now $15 ST take away and no bar fine.

Big Luck is a decent mid range place which used to have a fishbowl on the top floor. That's gone these days but you can still get a regular massage up there. Interestingly, the hotel used to be called something else but was renamed after a gangster related bomb attack about 7 years ago. There's a nice little casino downstairs too if you fancy a game of blackjack or roulette.

Freelancing street LBs are to be found by the dozen at the Wat Phnom traffic circle from dusk til midnight. Baraza on St 104 recently evicted the LBs and is now GG only.

The bad news is that your trip coincides exactly with election weekend (election here happen once every five years) and PM Hun Sen has ordered a 48 hour booze ban from from Friday night to midnight on Sunday 27th. Worse news is that the ban will be enforced - bar owners have been told that already. Plus, there will be havoc everywhere that weekend as Khmers travel across Cambodia to their home provinces to vote. Just something to bear in mind.

I'm hoping that my employers give me the Friday and Monday off work so I can get the hell out of Dodge and hop over to Pattaya for a weekender.
