Traffic From Pattaya to New Airport

I usually spend my last night in Bangkok but figure no need for that with the location of the new airport.

If I leave Pattaya at 5AM on Sunday, I should arrive at the airport in 90 minutes or less, right?

i'm sure. there is no traffic at that hour.

Should not be a problem. There are road works for a good part of the journey as they widen the road from 2 lanes but you should sail through at that time of the morning

Just made the trip yesterday, Oct. 28. Left Pattaya at 3:45 pm got to the airport at 5:30 pm. Light - moderate traffice on the road. Taxi meter (well not really meter, but looks like one of those) 800 Baht plus 60 for toll fees.

Left Pattaya (near to Dusit) on Sunday evening 7.50 pm, went into the airport at 09.10, typical Sunday evening traffic, so 90 minutes is well. 800 Bath plus 60 for toll fee.
