  • Woraburi hotel - anyone ever stay here?

Since I'm arriving so late tomorrow night I wanted to book a hotel online now. It's been difficult... I came across the Woraburi Hotel on 128/1 Sukhumvit Soi 4. I can't find a reviews on it. Anyone have an intel? I need to know fast!

Web site: Woraburi Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok

    Much appreciated!

I've stayed there, but it was in 2003. I like the place and would consider staying there again. LBs no problem at that time. Most likely not a problem now, since that is the case with the vast majority of hotels in Thailand. It is far enough down Soi 4 from NEP to be away from all the hustle and bustle, but close enough to be an easy walk, about 10 minutes, to NEP.
Check out their own web site to compare rates:

I've stayed there on several occasions, sometimes in a suite (don't bother, not worth the extra). No problems with guests coming in. A couple of times I've phoned the LB to come to my room and the staff let her up unescorted. Service can be dodgy but overall not too bad. Only downer for me is that each time I stayed there my bathroom had an unpleasant smell coming from the drains (not the same room so must be typical of all rooms).

beem there a couple of times when nana or dynasty have been full. the only drag is the location which is a bit far off. about 10mins walkj from nana, and a dull one. but only 10b with a motorbike taxi. the cheapest rooms are always full or they want to give you an more expensive one. i have paid 900 everytime and got a decent room.
for the same price you should rather go to grand inn, which is in soi3, only 50m from sukhumvit..
