Hi all,

just wanted to say hello and give you a bit of information, should you plan to join ladyboy websites.

It's not my normal habit to spread this kind of news but in your interest I think it's worthwhile.

There is a new site "www.longmint.com" and they have a very annoying restriction that they don't talk about before you join. So I want to let you know before you find our yourself after joining.

Their videos are DRM protected which means you can only watch them online or on a PC. If you start playing a video e.g. in Media Player you first have to visit their DRM protection site, enter your username and password and then you can play the video.

You have to do this every time you play a video!

And as if that wasn't annoying enough, if you cancel your membership you don't have a valid username and password and hence cannot watch your videos anymore.

If you exceed their download limit per day your account is blocked for one day (which is a nuisance in its own right because what is a day for members all over the world). But if your account is blocked you can't even watch the videos you have downloaded because your username and password isn't accepted.

I asked them about this fact (which is unique on the internet so far) but they decided not to respond, which tells something about their support as well.

So, you are warned and if you think about joining them, think twice!

Technically speaking you are right. But the implications of those statements are not at all obvious to someone who wants to join. I have been visiting shemale sites for over seven years now and this is the very first time that I come across such a situation. And I am not aware of another site that offers video download with DRM protection at all and certainly not ONLINE.

I don't want to do anything illegal but I think I should be allowed to watch the videos also when I have cancelled my membership.

For me it's clear. I won't visit them again. But it is definitely not my intention to advise anyone NOT to join them. However, I thought it might be useful information for someone who is about to join and doesn't understand the implications, like myself.

Well, "unfair" is not exactly the category I was thinking in.

Had I known i.e. had they clearly stated on the join page that "you can download videos but only watch them as long as you are a regular member" I would have understood their intention and I'm sure I would not have joined.

I don't deny their right to do that. All I was saying is that I would have liked to know before joining. But I agree it's my fault. Had I thought hard enough I could have known.

I just wanted to let others know so they wouldn't make the same mistake. That's all.

DRM encoded videos can€™t be copied, can€™t be traded, can€™t be bit torrented. That€™s great if you€™re the owner of the content€¦ it forces members to have to stay with your site or else all the videos they downloaded will no longer work once the license they give you with the decoder keys expires.

Personally I don€™t like it at all and would never use it on a site I run or own or join a site using it. People expect once they join your site to be able to download and save the vides and to play them as much as they like on their computer. DRM is like allowing you to only rent the content for a period of time€¦ after that you have to give it back.

...but in the end I believe that success will go to the friendliest and easiest to use websites.

I'm not a fan of this DRM based content but you can't blame porno webmasters for going this way especially with specialized or 'niche' content which this site clearly is...

I also would like to be made aware of this before I sign up as it's NOT something I would usually expect a website to do at this moment in time... In this case the buyer is clearly made aware of the situation.

It's inconvenient but that's the way it is. There are a lot worse porno sites out there with MUCH MUCH worse business practices.

One draw back for potential signees is that if you have a miserable internet connection then this is something you should bear in mind when joining this site.

And lets be honest... most people watch porno from their computers and most of us are online when we do, right?

But I do understand where the original poster is coming from...

I can only full-heartedly support your view about "the easiest to use sites being the most successful ones". I love easy business.

The bad thing is that I am a big fan of Mint and I was really happy to have found that site. I personally think she's a great talent. Big shame. But LB69 also has a lot of Mint stuff.

But wrt sites AsianTS is my all time favourite.

I must admit... I would be pretty hacked off if I had paid to be a member and not told about this beforehand.

There are loads of times when I want to watch porn (that I have paid to see and sunsequently downloaded to my computer) and I have no access to an internet connection.
