Finally arrived in Bangkok 2 days ago on a Monday night. Had to sleep in 2 nights due to jet lag. Citrus suites on soi 6 is across the street from novotel sukhumvit 4 and cheaper. Weather is very sunny, not too hot, and can't see much smog. Am earing lunch at the Monsoon Restaurant on soi 8. Back in 2020 thus was a very popular place to eat good western and some Thai dishes. Was extremely crowded with lots g wait times. Last night was less than half full. I like this better. That old Hillary 1 restaurant is run down. No longer open for breakfast or lunch. Did stop by nana plaza yesterday about 5 pm. Nobody around. A waitress told me there only 2 ladyboy bars. Obsessions and another on the 2nd floor. Stickman bangkok wrote to complain there's entry doormen who give you a bad time and demand passports. Not true. sign sez 20 years old. They simply waved me through. Will check tonight if Obsessions is crowded. Thai newspapers are reporting they're desperate for tourists. All they need to do is give everybody automatic 90-dat tourist on Rrival visas. So simple. Should forgive overstayed. Thailand is such a beautiful place to be in. Lots of booze, broads, party pubs, gorgeous beaches, cheap hotels and rentals, fantastic food, all kinds of shopping places, massage parlorsfor every budget, etc. Now Wednesday and just completed my second collar bone local anesthesia block. Arthritis is unbearable. Will redo them when I finish my 2 month pattaya vacation. My health insurance does cover Bumrungrad hospital. Paid $600 but insurance will reimburse me after I hand them my receipts. Saturday I'll ride the skytrain to mochit and spend some leisurely shopping and eat some roaster pork with hard skin with shrimp and kao (rice). Love their basmatti rice.

Sukhumvit street sells Kamagra in a smaller box of 7 doses. Imagine the old packet sizes. Now half that. B200 per box. So about a dollar per dose. Might have to swallow 2. Still cheaper than Cialis or Viagra. Covid meassing up a lot of quantities, prices, and quality. Used to buy airfare around $800 RT HNL- BKK. Now $1200. Novotel Sukhumvit 4 is same at $100 a nightt. Citrus Suites a little cheaper but hard to reserve. Both hotels AC are too cold. Have to order a second blanket or turn off the AC. Even at 30 setting it still feels like 25.

will see if those younger katoeys still hang out in front of Novotel. Noticed they fenced off the grassy front yards to keep them birds off. So that means they're on the sidewalks, across the street, or gone for good.

I was hoping that you would post about your trip now that you finally made it! Thank you!

In Makati, the guys selling cialis and viagra were so annoying. I felt like telling them, my girlfriend doesn’t need it and she does all the fucking!

Look up "my thai photo collection 2012 to 2019". Set 1. Page 17. dark colored slim sexy gal with the black mini dress. She is now working at Bangkok Obsessions with tag number 45. She is still the pretty ladyboy on the stage. Bar fine now B1000. Obsessions at 10 pm is very uncrowded. I recognized one gal who had the biggest cock and now lost some weight. Believe it or not this bar did close during Covid19 and still managed to survive. The crowd at the front og the Novotel Hotel has changed. all females and not so hot looking. Some black Nigerians and their pimps nearby. A number of females standing in front of Hillary 1. None interesting. The Nana Plaza crowd is small. Tourism is suffering. Got a sign NO PHOTOS. Dumb. Photos help tourism. Small number of dancers in Obsessions. Used to be lot of ladyboys who were pretty because they started hormones at early ages. Now almost all have male feet with male legs. Bad. Still having problems with jet lag. Getting too old and not enough ecercise. Will return tomorrow and check out the girlie bars. No kidding. There's no customer crowds in them. Tourism board had better start with the 90 tourist visas on arrival or go bust. Now Wednesday. Will taxi to Pattaya on Monday. Need to check if there's ladyboy bars in the newly developed Tree Town. Good night.

Forgot to inform you I got lucky finding a new thailand SIM card. Maps to confusing to find AIS ot DTAC. someone told me just go to 7 Eleven and ask. I asked for a one-month card and selected TRUE MOVE. Got data and talk. Price was a nice B350. Works excellent and don't have to waste time walking or ride the Skytrain.

Also happy to find my Debit card is working along with my 2 credit cards. Always remember to call the 888 or 800 number in the back of the card about a month before departure. And reconfirm a few days before the flight and test your debit card at your local ATM. Try withdrawing $100. The nearest ATM near my citrus suites in front of the 7 Eleven did not work in the Krugsri box but the next one did. You can select from B5000, 10, 15, 20, 25, or B30,000. Keeping my US 2,000 in crispy c-notes. I read they do not like ripped, stapled, or dog-eared bills. Funny news reported a dead Taiwanese man died with a stack of counterfeit dollars. A taxi driver found a bloodied Taiwanese on the road and brought him to the hospital with a bagful or cash. At Suvarnabhumi Airport I changed a c note to bahts. Rate is 30 to the dollar
                  on soi 4 it's B32/ dollar.

I got tricked by the airport taxi driver. I tapped a price and said B600 okay. Being tired I okayed it. During the trip I noticed he covered the meter on top of the dash. Clever ripoff. I told him to go to nana plaza on soi 4. He said ok. Turns out he's a dumb shit and gets lost driving the wrong way down a one-way dark unfamiliar street. I got mad and yelled FUCK and slammed the center console. I yelled nana plaza soi 4. Makes 2 turns and we're on it. So if you encounter a taxi driver tapping a price on his cell, just say NO. TURN ON THE METER. Once I yelled 4 times before befswung it on. I think I paid too much at B600. Might have been the same with meter plus tip. B600 is less than us$18. No big loss. My obsession bar bottles water was B120. Bar fine (BF) NOW B1k. Saw only one LB with a slim figure and large chest implants dressed up to leave with a swarthy Arab who seems to know her well.
now 6:10 AM, and hotel breakfast will start in 50 minutes. Citrus charges B320 and is average. Novotel sukhumvit 4 costs more and is a beautiful grand buffet. Monsoon Restaurant on soi 8 is B280, vert good with a good selection of goodies. Citrus opens from 7 am to 9 pm. Monsoon is from 7 am to 11 am. I think Monsoon is the best deal.

Might try saving money and eating brunch at Monsoon at 10 AM. Happy eatings in Thailand. Same for shopping, sight seeing, and visiting museums. Heard Siam Niramit is closed due to Covid19. Will check. By now I'm pretty tired of watching ladyboy shows. But then might get lucky getting their Line chat numbers. Got my international driver's and mc license so maybe. .

Today thursday is Loy Krathong Day. Fireworks in Pattaya tonight and lots of colorful silk costumes shown hopefully for tips. Today is a lovely sunny day. not so hot and humid. if you read must wear long pants, don't believe it. lots of white tourists with shorts. road skytrain to Saphan Taksin boat docks. Road to Wat Arun. Boat with few empty seats. Mostly Asians. Still the Grand Palace is the best. Maybe ask the hotel secretary to print me a bus map to get there. Or ride the killer mc taxis which always veer directly into oncoming traffic to save time. Now headed back to MBK for some window shopping. Too bad the computer store closed up, but fashion Mall is still there. Look forward to the Jatujak Flea Market where everybody is there to shop, eat, get massages, and people watch.

Yes. Read it on online news about 2 years ago. Gotta search where they moved to. MBK still has 2 camera stores but nothing like Pantip Plaza. Now as economy slowly improves I think a new mega store will start. Maybe Google search for one in Thailand.
