I know you will argue just for the sake of arguing but there is not doubt that Australian Rules Football is the toughest form of football in the world. The Aussie footballers do not wear padding but get hit as hard as in the NFL. The game lasts longer than other codes including soccer and AFL players have been clocked running up to 35km in a single game!

The game is called football because suprise, suprise we use a ball and the majority of the game uses the foot

You do not mention Gaelic Football in your little tirade?

Just in case you are actually interested the Melbourne FC is the second oldest affiliated football club in the world behind the Sheffield FC.

A forum for Post OP lovers would indeed be a very very lonely place. Therefore, much the same as with the effort to promote a Forum for the LB'S to post it will go the way of the Dodo Bird. Post-OP Lover needs to wake up, smell the Peets Coffee, realize that he is alone and perhaps start his very own website devoted to his favorite subject. Chicks With Dixs rule in here.

I assume both of you are referring to that travesty described by my cousin as 'aerial ping pong'. He used to play in one of the big university teams in Melbourne and was tried out for the state team.

He prefered rugby - as do I - that is a real game - not like these sissy football games

It was announced by FIFA yesterday that in all probability Australasia will host the next World Cup. That means that Australia in reality will hold it in 2018.

We get the Olympics instead which will London cant afford , not while im still paying taxes anyway...........
