The two Pattaya Bars where I've spent the most time this year would be LaBamba (Soi 13/1) and EZY Bar (Soi BJ off Walking Street).

As a newbie your best bet is to go straight to EZY bar and ask for Bom (ex triple x bar) You are sure to have a wonderful first experience.
