Those young kids who hang out on Avenida de Atlantica are street urchins, thieves, and happy-go-lucky insects. These people are poor and have no jobs skills. They train each other to rob, steal, lie, and even kill foreigners. Remember the story I told you about a Dutch importer-exporter who hung out with his friends near the Help Disco after work. He told me a story about his friend sitting next to him. He dated 2 pretty girls who drugged him with Rhohypnol date rate drug. When I woke up all his furniture, cookware, clothes, jewelry, wallet, toothpaste and brushes were gone. I think the fucked up cops don't care because there's no money in it for them. All of Brazil is dirty and crooked. And that was the first and last time I ever visited that waste of time country. If you want to see a place where everything is backwards, dangerous, and a big ripoff, then visit Brazil. It's just like Africa.

If you want to ride the cable car up to the Pao de Azucar just watch these:

pao de azucar ride - YouTube

For the ride up to the Cristor Redentor, watch these:

      christor redentor ride - YouTube

Those early engineers did an absolutely good job building those rides, tunnels, underground rails, and the city layout. After all it was the Brazil capitol for the monarchy fleeing from Napoleon. Beautiful city but like LA, SF, and all cities around the world the homeless and poor multiplied and ruined everything.
Right but what do you expect in a tourist zone? If you sit at almost any restaurant in Pattaya you will be hounded by street urchins trying to sell you stuff and rip you off.
The thing is, in Pattaya, it happens everywhere and on every street. Here in Brazil if I go out to the busy beach areas there is the same hustlers as you will find in Pattaya, just more concentrated. If i don't want to be bothered at the beach I can get a couple beers and go sit away from the bars and stuff, then probably nobody will bother me while I ogle the hottest girls in the world.

In the rest of Copacobana there is not a lot of hustling going on. There is not some suit guy on every block trying to shake your hand like in Thailand.
Not one person in Brazil has tried to sell me a suit or two or three, yet. Plus if people bother you at the beach you just say 'Nao Obrigado' as many times as necessary.

You can get drugged and robbed in any country and in Thailand also. You should always monitor your drink. In your own place you should make the drinks and never leave yours unattended. Most hotels in Thailand will filter most girls and not let them leave with all your stuff.
In Brazil the hotels are very picky about who you can bring in. If you live in an apartment and have a decent doorman you can not get cleaned out in this way.
My building that I am currently in has several doormen, I have tipped one and made buddies with another by giving him a Thai redbull shirt. He says everyone in the favela will be jealous of him.

When I went to HELP years ago, they only let girls in the bar they knew were probably decent. So the best thing is to take the ones in the bar rather than the ones near the bar. The same as in Thailand.
My friend says you are usually better to go to their place if you can. They can drug you and rob you, but then what do they do with you?
You know where they live and they probably won't kill you over such a small pittance as I would gladly give up the small amount I usually carry.
Plus, in most cases, I am going to give them all the money i have on me in exchange for some good luvin'.

I rode my bike under the Sugarloaf gondola but I have not plans to go up there. I ride gondolas and trams all winter when I ski.

As I stated before I have been to Christo on the train last trip with all my friends.
This time I will be riding my bicycleta up to see the Redeemer.

      I'm already in training.

      • Well I have been monitoring Grindr. A few TS have contacted me and one guy told me to call his sister, lol.

This tgirl seems a little more natural and perhaps amatuer. It seems like she can speak English, so I might check her out.

        • She is a cutie ! The lady you had a date with is beautiful ! Love that long black hair. You are certainly putting some miles on your bike. Thank you for sharing the pics of the area down there ! The US is opening up a bit. CDC says if you have had both shots you can go some places without masks. Hope Canada catches up with the vaccine distribution. I haven't been able to get to those Montreal T-ladies for a freakin YEAR !!!

Yeah the first TS i was with in Sao Paulo was pretty and nice. They are very private for some reason about their pictures, yet they advertise on escort sites.
A guy like me could bring them some future business I'm sure. However they do seem to photoshop the hell out of the ads here so that is probably one reason, the TS don't want their unaltered pictures to fall into the wrong hands. I love long dark hair but also like them a little slimmer with less enhancements, but that is harder to find in Brazil than I thought. This new one has has little work done, but her ass still looks bigger....

Last week I put on 280 kms on the bike and 2400 meters climbing. Need to burn off all the lock down weight I put on sitting at home for so long.
Once i am more ripped I will probably be more aggressive on the tgirl scene.

I'm not sure what Canada's problem is. Don't count on getting back in any time soon.
The USA has been demonized over this virus in Canada. Every American is accused of being a super spreader just because you generally have more freedom there than in Canada.

Of course, I will be a super duper spreader returning to Canada from Brazil. People won't want to come near me for months probably.

            • Maybe if you stay long enough you could get vaccinated upon your return to your Canadian airport and then be quarantined for 2 weeks. So enjoy yourself and not worry about the near future.

I got my Pfizer vaccination 2 days ago. Lucky I was given the best one.

In Canada it is currently 3-4 days in a covid prison upon arrival for a cost of $2000 and take two covid tests, even though you have to take a test before you fly.
Then you have to finish the balance of your quarantiine of two weeks at home.

There won't be a vaccine for me until September in Canada. I can probably buy one at a clinic in Brazil before I can get one in Canada.
They possibly can enforce a quarantine or test but they can't just jab me with a vaccine unless I approve it. That would be like mad scientists, if they went that far.
What ever happened to my body my rules?

People are even not complying with covid prisions in Canada.

                  • I now can see how curfews and restrictions don't work.
They have a one week curfew in Rio and restaurants must close at 5pm rather than 11pm or later.

Previously if I went to most restaurants they are not very busy and many big ones along the beach are almost emply at all times of the day.
Now with the 5pm thing going on, the restaurants are mostly packed all afternoon and they don't seem to be following the 40% guidelines really.

It is just the same as only allowing essential services like Costco and Walmart. Instead of people spreading out to all businesses as usual, they are crammed into a limited number of open stores. When i went to Costco in Canada it was just packed at all times. with big line ups out the doors.

These curfews and restrictions make no logical sense. You force people into fewer and fewer places and even lock them in their homes together instead of being outside?

You have to admit, this does not make logical sense, it does not make scientific or medical sense.

All that needs to happen is protect the elderly and vulnerable and quarantine the sick only.
Everyone else should be able to gauge their own risk level and fears.

If you are scared, you can stay home and hide. If you like masks then wear one and only go where others do.
I'm not clear why a small number of panicked people can restrict the freedoms of everyone else.

At least Brazil has some sanity, for now.
Not like Montreal with harsh lockdowns for months and months.
Meanwhile they don't protect the vulnerable and cram everyone inside together.

You don't have to be a medical professional to figure this one out.

That’s true in Uruguay too. I remember looking for something to eat at about 7 pm and everything was closed. We finally found someone willing to make us a pizza!

Vaccines are fine but not proven and they don't know the long term effects.

It would seem to me that extremely good testing would be the best thing for travel, however for some reason in over a year they have not been able to develop this.
I think the drug companies are holding back to sell us all the vaccine. Therapeutics are silenced, or any other reasonable treatment besides vaccines.

If there was fool proof testing then that would prevent anyone from travelling with covid, period.
The effects of the vaccines is all wishy washy with no clear benefit. They keep saying they just don't know how they will work?

These new drugs will stop the deaths by up to 87%. This seems better than a vaccine which they are not quite sure what it will do.
If you can stop the deaths by this much the pandemic should already be over. Vaccines seem like window dressing for money.
I'm not saying they don't help but they are not the be all and end all they are made out to be.
(and they are not true vaccines by the standard definition.)

Eli Lilly’s COVID-19 antibody combo already boasts an FDA authorization for patients at a high | Lilly’s COVID-19 antibody combo already boasts an FDA authorization for patients at a high risk of developing severe disease, but now it has even stronger data backing the duo. And it's the best data any coronavirus therapy has delivered so far.

Yes since it is a European based culture in Brazil, people like to eat late here too.
It is weird if you want breakfast you have to go to restaurants before 10am usually. I like Thailand where breakfast is available everywhere 24 hours a day.

When i went skiing in Italy with a ladyboy we found that most of the restaurants didn't server dinner until after 8pm.
We finished skiing at 4pm but could only get Apres Ski which is only cocktails and a dish of olives.
The Chalet we were staying in only provided continental breakfast but no lunch or dinner and no kitchen in our suite.

We saw many restaurants but had trouble getting food at them. We both were used to dinner around 6pm in Canada and Thailand but here this was not possiblle.
In Canada, America and Thailand you can eat any time you like anywhere. Seem really snooty and Europeanish to restrict this.

None of the hotel restaurants in this Italian alps village provided dinner to the public. Everyone staying at the hotel was on meal plans where they had buffets for the guests in some other rooms. One place the manager let us buy a meal plan for the evening because we were dying of starvation.

Here the restaurants close at 5pm until Friday and all beach services are suspended, which is stupid.
They haven't proven any spread from the beach, they just close it. People are probably more at risk stayiing home than going to the beach when it is 35 celsius.

On sunday there was about 200 pro-mask people jammed together blocking the street with signs saying "Use Mascara".
Meahwhile the road was blocked off and all the people walking, and riding along the beach were not even close to each other, with most wearing masks.
It makes not sense to me why hundreds of people would stand shoulder to shoulder demanding people who are outside and not close together wear masks.
This seems far more risky than what anyone at the beach has been doing.
90% of people on the street in Rio wear masks outside, so I am not clear why these protesters have to risk this BS.
It shows me that it is half political now.

Also there is anit lock down people here too. They don't get beat up like in Canada and no one takes their signs down.
Brazil is far more free than Canada now. In Canada if more than 5 people protest they get beat up and thrown in jail. what a joke my country has become.

This lockdown would not previously have happened in Rio but now they have a new socialist government in RJ.
