Yes. Thailand has gotten less cheaper. But tge new barfines and costs of ST and LT turns me off. All of Asia and the world is taking advantage of Covid19 as an excuse charge higher prices. Even now Cathay Pacific is canceling flights. Not enough pilots. Will taxi to bkk tomorrow. Will see if the crowds are back at Obsessions and if the katoey traffic has increased on Sukhumvit Street.

same observations I have been describing and complaining about in Pattaya. Really hate the nonstop sidewalk construction, dust conditions, and air pollution. And lack of quality katoeys. Pretty crowded last night thursday night 9 pm at Nana Plaza. Standing room only. Same inside all bars. Not so inside Obsessions. 16 dancers with about 3 b eing 8/10. Rear are average. Only 4 guys buying them drinks with one guy being generous with 3 ksoeys. Then their rotation come on and they're gone. I think Obsessions' days are numbered. 3 bars are now topless and the tourists love 'em. Security is beefed up with muscle guys wearing black vests with SECURITY patches. They're on every floor. Also at the entrance checking everybody's ID for age. Also to keep out freelancers. Water is still B120 or B150. Pretty soon they'll wise up and start charging entry fees and show charges when it gets too crowded. This is the post Covid19 pent up travel swarm. Bet ya even Kaosan Road is maxed out thanks to the new later bar closing hours now at 4 pm. Street ladyboys are more numerous around the corner police kiosk but still unattractive. This morning about 10 am I saw 4 old hookers plus one nice katoey at Sukhumvit McDonalds. Probably post-job breakfast. Tonight I'll scoot over to Teramae too see if the ugly girls still lie they're from college. Makes me laugh when they say they're taking English elective. I have to repeat everything i say three times. Even though it's dark you can tell they put too much makeup on. Try asking them how much and try not to puke when they say B5000. I hear those Koreans are happy to pay their prices. Even funnier is how some older men just sit by themselves and suck bottles. Never talking to the girls. Then on to Soi Cowboy. Still remember those youtube videos of that place totally abandoned and dark. Tomorrow it's jatujak Flea Market for some cheap shirts, people watching, and some jumbo shrimps with hard barbeques pork skinswith koa, and a fruit smoothie. After nine vacations things are getting boring. The rest of Thailand I missed is easily seen on YouTube. Boy, is everything getting expensive and harder to enter without getting ripped off.

From a massage parlor next to Monsoon Restaurant. price for foot massage or thai massage is now B380. remember I quoted Pattaya prices at B200. I think Cambodia will become the next top destination for world travelers. Getting very crowded everywhere with living expenses unaffordable. Used to pay about $800 for a round trip to Bkk. Now $1200. Next year $1500? I think this will be my last trip.

You know. I regret not buying 2 or 3 of them. This was my last trip to LOS. The pandemic really damaged everything. Hotels gutted or demolished. Bars like Patsy's on soi 8 gone. All the action moved to soi 6 but still no crowds like before. Bukhao is dead. Pook Bar is just a sign like Sindy'sBar. Shrunk to half size and now a lonely storage room with expanded metal gates and a padlock. News about crowded Walking Street is a lie. Saw no ladyboys. Katoeys r us is a ghost of itself. Few and sneerers. No smiles. Food quality and quantities are sadly down. Should have kept the old likes and just raised the prices. Stupid business changes. The Sportsman Bar has gone lower. Waitresses not so friendly and don't understand Engreesh. Never saw one pork chop like the ones i loved back in 2020. Not going back. 9th visit was just a waste of money and time. Glad I went starting in 2012 after those eye-popping photos showed up online. Yep, they were really pretty. Thanks to liberal doctors, surgeons, sex chande hospitals, and female drugs given at early ages as 12. Their bodies changed with graceful hands and feet. Smooth softer skin and almost no body hair. I suppose now you'll have to bus over to Isaan and surrounding areas to find them. Good luck if you do like adventures into deep green uncharted Thailand. So for now I'll just scan YouTube.com for adventures like motorcycle trippers or tourists who live there. Not much to see if you scan for ladyboys there. I am very pissed today. Seems that either thailand or Inchon TSA has stolen my blue spinal electro stimulator which was packed into my carryon. Why? Because it has a battery in it. Angry that they just grabbed it without asking what it was. I suspect the fuckin Koreans stole it because they think we're all north Korean spies. This is a very expensive device and I need to charge my lumbar spinal implants. Never ever flying to or through Korea again. Years ago I noticed I was missing some silly little things I bought in Thailand. All four trips to and from thailand on different airlines narrowed it down to Suvarnabhumi Airport. One of those things was a silly head antenna halloween decoration. Yep it contains a battery. I never received a note that things were stolen by customs/TSA. but I Google researched and found that thailand is the number one Airport for luggage theft. So I advise all of you fellow travelers not to fly Korean AL. Their security is trained to steal anything that contains batteries. And they don't have to tell you. Just grab and trash it. Fucking paranoid country. Just likecthe USA. Watch your carryon as they scan and open your things. I do notice that they confuse you by checking each piece of luggage separately. Another thing I disliked is how they constantly check your passport and ticket. Once I was asked if I recently bought my cell phone. WTF??? now this info should worry you if they might steal your laptop or camera batteries just because they fall under the description of "suspicious electronic devices". And they don't have to tell you. Anyway this past trip was my last. Thailand is way too dirty and polluted with smoke from Chiangmai. Drifts down to Bangkok where more auto smoke is added before continuing on to Pattaya. You can feel the dirt inside your nostrils.

Oh. BTW bring greenbacks to Vegas. The casinos charge huge service charges at their ATMs. Be forwarded every hotel charges you a resort tax which must be paid when checking out. Sneaky. I once tried to eat at Bellagio's buffet but couldn't get in. Line snaked out the front door, around the hotel, and next to the street. Vegas is a ripoff. I used to like the place for its top entertainment shows like Siegfried and Roy. Now gone. The cirque du Soleil shows are wonderful but are still stuck after 25 years. Boring same oldies. KA is the best at MGM Grand. Plus the Beatles LOVE at the Mirage. Right now this hotel is deconstructing its volcano and replacing it will a huge guitar building. I would stay away from there. Their heated swimming pool is closed until further notice.

Fernanda and I are headed to Las Vegas in a week. We are staying dowtown at the Grand hotel. Last time we were there we found the strip far to expensive. When we went downtown to gamble everything was much cheaper and the slots much looser. Cigarettes at Planet Hollywood store was $30. Downtown they were $8 at a store. Plus many places downtown have the cheap prime rib specials. The hotels and resort fee is a little cheaper downtown also. Unfortunately we are arriving on Superbowl night so every hotel in town was jacked up and over prices. We paid $600 for that day but $150 for the rest of our stay. Not sure if we will see many shows since we seen so many last time we stayed there. Fernanda wants to see Puppetry of the Penis but I'm not to keen on that. We were considering getting married by Elvis.

Don't forget they ambush you at check with resort tax. $50 up per room per night. I first visited Vegas in 1980 when the Mafia built and controlled everything. Slept in my station wagon with a mattress. Ate at cheap $3 buffets in the evenings. Swam at the Sands pool and slept in their parking lot for free. Every show was the best in the world. I was so dazzled. Loved the strip shows.perfect Playboy bodies and so acrobatic. Even saw a glass box in front of a small casino blowing a million dollars in bills. I remember when $100 was not the largest denomination. Prime rib and steaks were everywhere along with the best salads, desserts, drinks, milk, ice creams, backed potatoes, scalloped, mashed, etc. And you could eat all you could stuff yourself. Nobody bothered if you stayed for hours. The last time I visited was 2000. Service has deteriorated. Used to be all the casino workers were white in the dealing rooms and Hispanics in the dining areas. Then all blacks. And then all Chinese from Taiwan. Lots of Hawaiians are fed up with the high costs of everything in Hawaii. Now almost half of Hawaiians live in the Mainland, and they've happy to be able to afford a home within reach. Funny how there's an economic boom when Lake Mead is expected to drop even lower. Right now there's a severe atmospheric river storm across California. Wonder if it'll help the drought. Hope you enjoy Vegas especially during Super Bowl weekend. Party town USA. spend like you're a dying man. Enjoy watching all the weirdo characters who think they're rich and beautiful. An extra bit of info. Thailand is considering banning MJ and giving everybody 90 day visa on arrival. But i don't like this business of confiscating everybody's prescription drugs. Thailand wants u to buy them here. That means you'll have to pay $100 plus to see a doctor and get new prescriptions filled. Now what happens if they're out of stock or don't carry such strange names? Oh, I'm sorry Hdrocodone is an illegal opioid. So boo hoo. So if you got cancer, congestive heart failure, etc requiring expensive or rate drugs then consider a different destination.

The downtown hotels are cheaper in Vegas, the resort fee is $33. There is cheap prime rib many places downtown. $8.99 - 15.99. Our hotel has $2 PBR & hot dog. Slots downtown much looser than the strip. Everything on the main Las Vegas strip is ridiculous price. If you want to drink cheap you have to buy one of the big plastic yards full of booze for $20 then they are refillable for $10, you get like 6 ounces per drink. We are going to the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars palace. Best buffet in the world for $75. All you can eat for $75 of anything. Steak filets, king crab, lobster or anything you can think of. Just an amazing buffet.
