So I went to pick up my weekly rag from the mailbox yesterday;  I like  Newsweek because it's a bit left-leaning and also I travel a lot so if I miss the daily Herald while I am in Montreal or Cape Cod I can catch up on world news while I am on the shitter.


    Yesterday, in big red headlines and written in lipstick it said that.... What do Women want?

      I swear, it took me all of about 2 seconds to utter to myself "who the fuck cares" as I tossed it into my car with the other junk mail, and it ended up in the bin an hour later when the relevant parts of that otherwise-fine mag were read.

  So, is anyone here as  chauvinistic as I am?  Does it really matter to anyone, except them??

Then you should read this book called "Why Men Dont Listen & Women Cant Read Maps" by Allan Pease. It's life-altering!  

It says, among many others, that a guy's mind works very differently from a girl's. It's nature and not nurture. This is due to evolution of the hunter and the gatherer.
Thus, a guy's needs would be entirely different from a woman's needs. So, guys do not necessarily have to understand a girl's needs in her own context (ie, he prefers target, pursuit and tactics, she enjoys familiarity and nurture). As long as their is awareness that your comprehension of needs or wants will always be different, and the sensitivity to respect that and provide space, then it should be a good, working foundation for man-woman relationships.

No, not preachy at all and as usual my chauvanistic attitudes make me come across as more of a dink than I really am [, no, really!!] but in reality I just don't understand that whole gender at all!

It's hard for me to respect or understand a gender whose whole way of life is based around emotions; I LOVE the female form, it looks great and the softness of the skin is so nice and the smells, looks, touch, etc...... even more than ladyboys. But I swear I have no idea what they think about, the mood swings, the fact that most could never share anything in common with me ..... in my "normal", non- porn-travel-weird-psuedo-loner lifestyle, I have about 30 close friends and family members, maybe 50 at a stretch. About 5 are women, girls I understand and who understand me; that's a pretty small number.

Oh believe me, neither do I understand men. If youre confused how were so overtly emotional, I throw back the same confusion why men can be so insensitive! Haha!  

But hey, if we all knew what there is to know about life then living wouldnt really be as much fun, would it?

I find myself caring less and less about what they want.
If they can't tell me too bad, and any more, even if they do tell me, I don't really fucking care. But I'm not bitter or anything like that.
I find prostitution to be a much more honest situation than "relationships."
I absolutely refuse to go out of my way to pursue a woman I'm only partially interested in for sex just to get jerked around, and not in a good way.
