Without 100% *proof* it's hearsay, and the only sane thing is to delete the accusation. The problem lies in the PROOF, not the accusation. If you treat all guns as live, you won't end up shooting yourself in the foot, whatever the rumor/proof.

(kliome @ Jul. 26 2009,17:09) If someone posts info that a LB has hiv would/do you edit or delete it, or allow it to stay?
We would definitely move the thread out of sight.

I would consider allowing a thread of this nature if certain criteria were to be met, though. Even then it's doubtful that we could support such a thread.

voted: " It depends on the circumstances"

(Stogie) You aren't, by any chance, the health minister for Africa are you?
The well informed Stogie refers to Dr. Mantombazana 'Manto' Edmie Tshabalala-Msimang (put this on a visiting card!...), Minister of Health in South Africa from 1999 to 2008.
Her emphasis on treating South Africa's AIDS epidemic with vegetables such as garlic and beetroot, rather than with western antiretroviral medicines, was the subject of international criticism.

(RxPharm) However, if she is not doing this and is receiving active treatment for HIV, then no. A patient receiving active effective treatment for HIV will have very low risk of transmitting it.
Risk is very low, but there is still a risk, and we must not forget that there is no cure for HIV: it is a 1 way trip with no refunds whatsoever.
HIV virus is worst than a mamasan.
Besides it depends also very much on other factors:
        - her CD4/CD8 (the little soldiers in your body): if too low, ex. <=200, she has little resistance, and she can catch anything FROM the client. You have a flu and take antibiotics? She can die of it.
        - her viral load (a number telling you how many viruses can be counted per ml of blood). If it is above some hundreds, beware. If it is "undetectable", it is much much better. She can take drugs, but be in the initial phase of the treatment.
        - her drug taking pattern. Anti retro drugs MUST be taken at regular intervals, and without forgetting or skipping! The HIV virus is very good at getting quickly resistant. If she develops a resistant virus, and you get infected, so then you are simply infected with "super hiv" rather than "normal HIV" (I simplify), and your treatment options are reduced...

Yes, you can have sex with a HIV lady! Simply use always condom. However, if she gives oral sex bare, be sure that your sex does not have any irritations (blood too close from the surface, skin too thin) as she can have some bad gums (no, saliva does not have HIV viruses, but blood from bad teeth/gums have) . Regarding this matter circumcised men have a harder skin and they will resist better (but they are not virus proof!!!). Actually, if they use a condom on top of a circumcised sex, it is like a WW2 panzer division through Poland and France!

(ladyboyluva) Stuff ups don't need to be the result of some top down all consuming power group pulling strings, it only needs a subject of fear, with various groups finding more incentive by propagating errors than in correcting them.
It is a question I also have when I buy my next anti-virus software, wondering what is the number of viruses designed by an Ukrainian nerd, or by a Symantec/Avast/McAfee engineer...
The origin of this HIV virus is also very unclear, and we can suppose many things...
The money it generates is enormous, and part of this world is ruled by capitalistic concepts...
It is understandable to have people with question marks about this disease.
Unfortunately, HIV, as a virus, is not a lie. I have already lost 5 people in my staff this year because of this. 2 former girlfriends also.. When they die in your arms, you do not think about "conspiracy". You think about how unfair life can be...
You will see no real sign before it is too late. People are tired, or a simple flu stands for weeks rather than a couple of days, a bit of fever and some stomach problems, but all this can be easily forgotten and go unnoticed. And most people don't even know they have HIV! You can be 5 years with the virus in you before starting to notice things!
        The problem is:
        - you never die of AIDS. You die because another disease found your body weak enough for feeling welcome... Where I am, Malaria, tuberculosis, and other cuties just prey on HIV people.
        - "it always happens to others."  (I am sure Celentano does not think this...)

My last 3 posts are about HIV, in 3 different threads... how come? Is it the latest discussion trend here? No complains though. Reading light (very light) stuff, then serious matters is good. It gives food to several kinds of members! Fortunately, this forum has also pics...
a froggy, lost in translation and in Africa... and no, I am not the one on the pic swinging a club ... I am the one holding the pin !!!

I know that any standpoint could lead to controversial discussions, but I feel that if it is really known that a certain girl/lb is HIV-positive, boardmembers should be made aware of it in a cautious and discrete way. Of course this opens a lot of questions on the how and why, etc. Same applies of course to HIV-positive customers.
No matter what and regardless what some might believe in or not, we are talking about an uncureable illness here.

How it could all be done, I do not know offhand but let me put this differently - if one of your good friends were to spend a night with a girl or lb you knew were HIV-positive, would you tell him? Again same goes if you knew that one of your friends were HIV-positive and he was about to take a girl you knew quite well and cared for, would you tell her?

I know that this is probably one of the trickiest situations this board could run into, but there might be lives at stake ...

Mums the word. It's not our job to inform others, who refuse to wear condoms, about the hazards of having sex with this or that ladyboy.

            Assume they are all HIV+.

On the flip side, you don't want all the LBs in Thailand telling all the other LBs and GGs that YOU are HIV+, now do you?

I think if you know for sure She has it ( & how sure can you be, unless she has told you herself ) & you know fellow BM's that have gone with her, then I think you should tip them the wink.
              Be lucky,have fun & stay young !

how sure is sure, if you hear it about one from before from some other lb, then when you her alone......asking her, she is HIV+ or not......., and her answer is only holding you tight and get crying......, turn off and went away, without any answer...

btw......she is a very popular lb.......

i take it with this thread, someone knows something and wants to tell all, without damaging her rep.
i think its best all the active guys who feq thailand for such fun should know. But saying that in a open forum could damage all partys, if the said person does know something and respects both her and fellow hunters then they should be told on the quiet.

It's a tough call. I think if the information is verified (test results for example)...then people have a right to know what they are dealing with. This is p4p after all and any potential downside to the girl's reputation is a price to pay for OHS. Of course this should be done in as respectful or measured a fashion as possible.

The earlier 'debate' about the existence of HIV reminds me of that potboiler thread in the Fish Box a few years back on global warming
A few people got burned on that one...

I couldn't find potboiler in the fishbox forum via search, so who got burned?

Are you refering to those who knew it was a sham early on, due to the fact that temperatures have returned to 15 year lows, despite all predictions. I suspect you think it's proven now because the TV news keeps asserting GW via man made CO2 is a fact. ?

Anyway, I'm a bit surprised there aren't more skeptics here re: HIV. Mass murder is being perpetrated upon our ilk, and yet most cheer along the mass murderers or stand quietly by with hands over ears and eyes.

Seems the comfort of victimhood outweighs the effort of vigilance.

Here is an interesting article from Wikipedia: AIDs Denialism.

People are free to believe what they want, whether it is actually true or not remains to be seen. As for mass murdering pharmaceutical companies with political and scientific bedfellows - this forum about ladyboys is certainly an excellent venue for discussing the AIDs conspiracy.

Here is some interesting info about the producer of ladyboyluva's video
                              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Null
I've actually done some research on the subject using MULTIPLE REFERENCES (wow, who would think about that?) and Mr. Null's making a good living selling his "opinion on video"
                              Nice "PhD" he's got.
If you make a documentary about it, you can pretty much make any claim and provide "proof".

I'd not heard of Gary Null, but then my car radio can't receive either "AM" or "Fox News"

But I think for opinions like Null's (e.g., AIDS Denial, Vitamin C shakes, Elvis sightings, UFOs) to make sense you have to completely suspend belief in medical progress.  To me this means that you also believe that:

You will not get hard after eating Viagra
You will not recover from a bacterial infection with antibiotics
You can drink 50 12 oz cans of beer without ill effect
                                ... and so forth

                                You get the idea.
                                I hope I didn't brain my damage...
