My thoughts exactly at the end of my 2nd trip. Glad to hear someone else say what I know a lot of us are thinking.

On a side note, don't lie to me and tell me you haven't been looking at tickets. I know you have!!!

        8.  You loose your head once and over pay one girl... all the others know about it as soon as said overpaid girl returns to the club.  Now you are pegged as the dude with the deep pockets.

                911
DP, yup it was really 70000 TBH!
Woooahh..u mean u spent $1873 on a PURSE!! You gotta be kidding, that's the cost of another trip to BJKK, loads of ST's-LT's, probably the cost of LaLa's SRS if she wants one so bad... hey it's your money but really.. a purse??? Couldn't she have used that cash for more resonable items like a few doz. aircons or a big screen HDTV, or even a used car or motorbike there?? *
Well it's listed on the Vuitton Eluxury site as $1800 so you paid only $73 too much.

The thing about Thailand is there's lots of really good fakes out there... so good it's hard to tell the difference. And not all fakes are created equally. The shit they sell on the street are the bad fakes... the good quality stuff you have to ask around. Twice I have been escorted into secret rooms in the back of shops that are stocked floor to ceiling with some of the best high quality fakes around. Some I think are really authentic just stolen. A high quality fake or hot bag can be had for under 3000 Baht.

                • a top quality fake is more like 7000-12,000 depending on brand.

                  • In Hong Kong or China they usually are graded - C, B, A, AA, and AAA. The A, B, and C shit is all easily identifiable as fakes, even by 5 year old children, and can be found in places like Patpong (or fuck, even the streets of New York City being sold by illegal Kenyan immigrants). The AA stuff is better and could probably fool people if they didn't know better. The AAA stuff is apparently so good that only those with really detailed knowledge of the genuine article could tell, and even then, it might be tough. As Snick says, these can command prices in the hundreds in USD. I'm not surprised that some of these make there way to Thailand at a similar fee.

Actually the highest grade fakes are made here !
and they are considered better than the Chinese fakes -- and priced accordingly.

PS. Last month I went to MBK to get a new Sony Memory Stick and they charged me 1200 Baht for 1GB. When I asked why so cheap, they said it was counterfeit from China...its worked well so far.

                          • GSR    Just discovered from this thread that I have adopted one of your photos as my avatar.  Is there a copyright on the private photos?  Now I know who the model is, I'm returning to Obsessions as high priority tonight.

Compliments to you for the photos, the trip reporting, the 'lessons' (and for your taste in LBs).

                              • SNICK!..

..from an AMAZON product review! (just thought u might like to know)
There are currently a large number of counterfeit Sony Memory Sticks for sale on eBay and other sources.
These products are cheap imitations, and are usually manufactured in China. They can be hard to tell from the genuine product, but invariably they will not work properly, and they do not have a warranty from Sony.
Here are some general pointers for spotting these fake products:
                                Price.
Buyer beware. If the price seems too good to be true, then it probably is€¦..
                                Packaging.
The packaging of the fakes can be difficult to distinguish from the original Sony packaging, including the hologram.
However, the fake packaging often has poor quality printing when compared to the real Sony product. Also, the Sony packaging is heat sealed and the seals between the two layers of clear plastic are elongated. The fake packaging is sealed using small round spots of glue.
                                Accessories.
If a Sony Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo is supplied sealed with an adapter, the adapter is always a genuine Sony MSAC-M2. Memory Sticks supplied sealed with a non-Sony adapter are almost certainly fakes.
As far as I can tell, all of the Memory Stick Duos or Memory Stick PRO Duos currently distributed by Sony in the USA (MSX-M2GS, MSX-M512S, MSX-M256S, MSX-M256N, MSX-M512N, MSX-M1GN, MSX-M2GN, MSX-M1GST) come with an adapter in the sealed packaging.
                                The card itself.
Authentic Sony Memory Sticks have laser-etched information on the back of the plastic case. The lettering on the fake cards is printed on and will rub off.
The fake Memory Sticks have inferior casing, they often do not fit into Memory Stick slots properly, and the case will often break open easily.
Inside the case, the fakes do not have a Sony-marked PCB and use inferior grade chips which do not perform reliably. They usually are not the same capacity as a genuine Sony, and the fake High Speed Memory Sticks do not operate at the same speed as genuine Sony product.
..at BEST BUY the 1gig memory cards are selling for $38 now, about the same as I paid for my 256mb card in July!
