                    I have to disagree with you two Bluesmoons..

                    I am telling you,if he can stay fit he will score.
                    You can't judge him from what dross he played along side at Newcastle.

                    Not always 100% but his goal ratio last season was almost equal to £33m worth
                    of the wonderful (snigger) Berbatov..

                    2008/9- Owen played 31 scored 10
                    Berbatov played 43 scored 14

                    free transfare,pay for play... good move.

                    Weird summer though, no one seems to want to go to UTD..
                    Every big target states they would rather go "Madrid,Barca" even
                    David Villa said he's rather go to Liverpool if he came here.Tevez
                    binned them off (and don't go blaming their agent)

                    At Liverpool, there are endless talk of Alonso,Mascherano heading out to La Liga..

                    Is the glory years of the Premiership coming to an end?

                      Quite incredible that Real Madrid are able to spend nearly as much money in two months than their entire income for the previous twelve

                      I agree with Naang Faa in so far as a fully fit Michael Owen shall score plenty of goals and signing him up on a free transfer via a pay as he plays arangement would seem to make good sense.
                      A couple of times this year I have seen Fergie and Owen enjoying each others company at the races, (Haydock & Chester) both being mad keen multiple racehorse owners.

                              What do you think the chances of Boro and Newcastle making it back to the premiership next year? It's possible, but lately these bigger name clubs have not recovered well(charlton, southhampton). It will be interesting. If my home club Plymouth can get in the top 8 i will be over the moon Not likely but we will see.

                              As for the P/Ship;

                              DREAMING;

                              1- Liverpool - FA CUP/CHAMPIONS L/ PREMIERSHIP (That would make me happy)
                              2- Everton
                              3- Man u
                              4- Arsenal
                              5- Villa
                              6- W/ham
                              7- Spurs
                              8- Chelski

                              REALITY;

                              1- Man u
                              2- Liverpool
                              3- chelski
                              4- Arsenal
                              5- Villa or Everton
                              i'm going where the sun keeps shining.................
