The music in Guess Bar poll - Please vote!

I truly don't care what type of music they play...It's only the volumn that I find objectionable...Last night I tried to brave it and lasted less than 5 minutes inside...the remainder of the evening...until closing time...was spent sweating outside...

I'll continue to go 4 or 5 nights a week when I'm in town...because I've been going since it opened...and I enjoy the bar and the girls and look at the bar as my safe little haven...although I normally BYO...But I do wonder how many guys leave after one drink because of the noise...

Don't know about the new place, but I visited last year (old location) and it was spot on. In fact, I commented on the fact on a forum (along with the general ambience - seating, etc) and had the rise taken out of me something rotten ! However it was a very pleasant change from every other bar I visited, either in Bangkok or Pattaya, and worth noting for those that didn't appreciate being deafened by distorted techno. I'm back again this Nov. and will update my opinion, but I'm hoping it hasn't changed.

Didn't spend as much time at Guess last month as I have done on previous trips, as the music was so bloody awful. My apologies but I just can't stand techno. I ended up bar fining a girl and taking her to a quiet lounge bar on Soi 11 just so we could relax and chat.
